There are hundreds of bands I like, and it would be impossible for me to cast a definitive decision as to which is my favourite.

As everyone else say, there's so many great bands out there, and it's difficult to choose, but if I had to pick one, it's Vamp. My friends think I'm totally weird, but I just love how they mix all kinds of things together and come up with something that can't really be labeled properly. It also sure helps that they sing in the most delightful Norwegian Accent.
Another plain weird band that I love is Kaizers Orchestra. And then there's Secret Garden. These are my top three bands. I sure hope the fact that they are all Norwegian is a coincidence, lol. I don't know why that is.

Eh I just don't listen to Nightwish or symphonic metal altogether - I could listen to a load of things, like Enya, Loreena McKennitt as far as soloists are concerned [I would LOVE to see Loreena live if she ever comes to the UK again, that'll make up for missing all Nightwish and Within Temptation concerts ever]. As for bands, well I like Shiny Toy Guns and Freezepop, the rest is just all random crap ranging from 80's pop to happy hardcore.
