Weird Dreams Thread

On a typical night of sleep, a person dreams about 3 different times during the duration of your resting. Whether you actually remember them or not (maybe just 1, sometimes I've remembered all 3, sometimes none), there comes those times when we all get those completely absurd dreams that we want to tell people about. So, well, here's gonna be that place to tell 'em...

I guess I'll start...I can actually remember a remarkable amount about this one I had last night, and be aware that there are no typos in it: it's all what I really saw.

Well, my dad's diabetic, and he was out of insulin, so me and my mom were instructed to go to the pharmacy to get him some (albeit you don't get insulin at the pharmacy). Next it cuts to me and my mom in the car, parking in the parking lot, me in the passenger seat. We talked about something (can't remember that) and then out of nowhere, a gruff-looking stereotypical bad guy I see is standing behind a car and shooting random people in the parking lot. (Back about a row of cars and a couple cars to the left, and I'm American, so the driver would be on the left side.) It wasn't any gun though--no, it was a gun that shot green lasers.

So now, me and my mom are like totally jaded about it, she's telling me to just go and get the insulin while this guy's shooting his lasers in the background, and I'm all like "no" and stuff, not until he leaves. (I think the plan was to stay in there so he wouldn't notice us, though we weren't during anything besides that, no ducking or anything.) So, eventually (a good amount of time passes here), as I watch him, he turns around in the style James Bond 007 does in the intro in many of the movies (quick turn, firing after about a second). He starts shooting, hitting the side of the car. Both of us roll out of the car and take our own cover (I don't see my mom again for now--no spoilers, hehe). I stay back behind the car for quite some time before the next bit happens.

After a while, he shows up behind me and decides to put me in a headlock. I look up at him, and him at me, up at his big ugly snarling face. Instead of shooting me, he literally picks me up and throws me up in the air about 50 feet. (Your average, not all that big baddie) I come back down, he catches me, does it all again a second time (no reason again, he just did--maybe a scare tactic type thing?), and then comes your twist ending. We have another thing of us looking at each other, then he just gets this big smile, starts laughing, and hugs me. Yep, we became friends, and he puts me down and we keep laughing right there.

Then it cuts back to me walking up my front stairs and entering my house. There's my mom on the couch and the rest of my family comes walking out of the kitchen. Then there's another session of everyone laughing, and it ends there.

I should write a novel. Anyways, someone else's turn now, hehe.

I had a dream once which revolved entirely around an endless mass of people throwing knives at me.

This one night, I had a dream that I was Razor (From the Swat Kats).... (lol, this I had a while back, but I remember it better than any others.) Well, in some place that looked like it was old and kind of ruined.. I remember seeing The Joker somewhere, but seemed he was part of some scheme of having ugly creatures grow and take over the place.

That's all I can remember.

I once had a dream where I was trapped in a multistory building, locked in one rather small room with nothing in it but a wooden chair and one of those air-things you can climb through on the ceiling. Because I saw no other way out of the building, I had to use the chair to get through the small hole and into a tunnel, where suddenly gravity flipped in on itself and I started falling upwards, although I was looking down! Then I ended up outside of the building, not knowing where I was. After this I ran to the nearby main road to get help, only to get run over by a quintuple-decker-bus (rather like the one in Harry Potter actually). The dream ended there.

More recently I had one where I got crushed by some plastic chairs, but that's about it.

I'm always having dreams about me running away from somebody in a life-and-death situation, which usually involves me flying around by flapping my arms.

Recently, like in the past few days, my dreams have been VIVID, and they aren't very happy.

Just two nights ago I had a dream where the SAW puppet was killing all of me and my friends in my school, where we were all trapped. It was odd, since everybody was dieing like there was a killer in the mirrors.

Anyway, people who were killed came back only a little while later, and the day kept resetting. We also had a theater in the sanctuary....for some reason......

One time, in the middle of the dream, I was a Pokemon trainer with my other friends (I have no idea. I haven't even seen or said the word "Pokemon" in a long time.) while still stuck in the school (at least I think we were stuck in the school.) and we were choosing which city to go to via a television.

We saw Veridian city being destroyed with some anime girl with green hair. I said "I'll go to Veridian." and my friends smirked at me.

Then, out of no where, the killing started happening again, and no mention of any Pokemon was ever heard of. I didn't even ask.

So, then, the killer was brought out of the mirrors, and it was a bald guy in a gray hospital suit. And we kept trying to tell him to stop killing people. And out of no where I start telling him he should stop killing people just because they have sex (:|) and that it isn't wrong as long as it's not rape or if they want to do it or something like that. Mrs. Eivins is nodding, meaning she is aggreeing me. Then, with the killer, we began doing English class.

Hmm, I wonder what actually causes us to have these obscure dreams...

I like it, it's like your brains got it's own home entertainment system...

I like most of my dreams, but the ones that feature horrible events I hate... Some days something plays on my mind, something that I would absolutely dread happening, and these actually seem to replicate into some diabolical dream consisting of everything bad you could possibly imagine. For instance I once dreamt I was back in secondary school - one of the worst experiences of my entire life.

Then there's those blissful dreams that make you feel so great, yet when you wake up they take the opposite effect.

In the holidays I always have dreams about me having to go back to school

I dream of having to go back to school all the time and I left 6 years ago.

I've had dreams of be back in school too... and all of them were pretty weird.

One dream that EVERYBODY has is a dream of your teeth falling out.

Another extremely common dream is that you're falling. I often have a variation of this, in which I'm running on a pavement and when I land I wake up, and my leg twitches

.... yeah... I've waken up from falling in a dream too. I actually hate those kinds.

Surprisingly, I've never had a dream where my teeth fall out. Or of me falling. It's mostly- as I've said before- of me flying.

I never had a dream of my teeth falling out either. Though I have had dreams of taking shelter from severe weather, and in those dreams, I try saving all my stuff too.

One dream that EVERYBODY has is a dream of your teeth falling out.

Oooo I had that, I was on a school trip and my front teeth fell out randomly.

I keep getting dreams where i'm going to a 4-story Comet store, the front of the store is red glass and right at the entrance is a esculator. The sky and it's surrondings are all black and red. It really scares me for some reason.
