Well it depends on what type of Rap you are talking about, I'd say yes if you are talking about Krunk rap, but I'd say no if you were talking about Old School Hip-Hop or Trip-Hip.

I agree with you. Rap nowadays just suck, like soulja boi, he is gay. Nas is much better (his older music) But then again, you could say the same thing for Korn, their music has gotten just bleh. Old Korn is the best.

Then you should check out Deltron 3030, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, MF Doom, Plastic Little, Aesop Rock, and Molemen (Ritual of the... Revisited is a good one to check out first from Molemen). And I really like Jay-Z as well, even though he isn't really as underground as the others.
