I use Goldwave. You can also use any other problems like, for example, Audacity.Holy Crap wrote:it's not a direct solution, but you could try sharing the workload with someone who's willing to help. i might, except i don't think i have the correct programs. what do you use?

You are Tarayzan, Droolie. Congratulations
I think you were before, but I can't remember seeing you with Tarayzan rank the other day.

how would that help? all i can see is that he has 9200 tings, and i think tarayzan is 9000, and he isn't very active either, so he must have been that rank for a while, as long as i can remember at least.

Gotcha, I can't find ANYTHING. Lookin' like Droolie's problem is rare.
I have to look at wav file structure second time...

Droolie is not as active as he used to be, but he is still a popular and well liked member of the community. He is loyal, and he made the raytunes website, which is absolutely exquisite in my opinion. All the music from all the Rayman games in one nice little website. He must be congratulated on this. I should have done it a while ago, but now It must be done.Holy Crap wrote:how would that help? all i can see is that he has 9200 tings, and i think tarayzan is 9000, and he isn't very active either, so he must have been that rank for a while, as long as i can remember at least.

i said that because someone said something about him gaining a rank recently, but he's been on that rank for quite a while. and i also asked Hunch how checking his profile would help find out whether that was the case.Beebop wrote:Droolie is not as active as he used to be, but he is still a popular and well liked member of the community. I was thinking what about a Gamerip.
Hook up a ps2 to your pc and record the music while playing the game, that way you don't have to worry about really picky editing.

Yeah, it's true I'm unactive here ( and everywhere else - but though I don't post, I still check PC every day! ), but that's mainly because of the school ( because of that same thing I can't work on RayTunes much ), and the game I'm working on ( check Rayman Fan Works ). And... the fact that I can't really complete the Revolution soundtrack ( I must admit it is ages ago that I still worked on it ) is because of the problem, which is also why I created this topic.

By the way, thanks for the congratulations! ^^
But that way you would never have the complete tracks ( and the ones that you never hear in the game ), would you?Blok2004 wrote:I was thinking what about a Gamerip.

Its no problem
I like going on raytunes and hearing that music from Rayman 1 and all the others. It brings back some good childhood memories!

Hunch meant looking at his recent posts via his public profile.Holy Crap wrote:i said that because someone said something about him gaining a rank recently, but he's been on that rank for quite a while. and i also asked Hunch how checking his profile would help find out whether that was the case.Beebop wrote:Droolie is not as active as he used to be, but he is still a popular and well liked member of the community. Sorry for the big bump again...
Droolie, do you still need a program that automatically removes null bytes in your .wav files?
In case you haven't finished your hard work yet, I've coded the tool you're waiting for! Hope it doesn't come too late...
Download it here. -- Edit 2015-11-08: this version is buggy, use this new one instead: [ Zeroid 1.2 ]
You can also specify how many null bytes you want at least to remove. For example, if a sound contains one or more "null" samples (imagine a square wave going ____----____----____---- etc.), they shall not be removed, because they are part of the waveform. So you can specify how long is the shortest "undesired" silence you want to erase (any shorter silence will be left as is).
Sorry for having made it so late... I'm sure I could have done it a year ago, if I only knew the problem...
By the way... I don't need my name in a bold and large font
Just a name in the Credits is allright

But what can you do with it? The Revolution soundtrack is already ripped, and that's what you wanted it for, right?
