Holy Shit, take a closely look at the picture:
You see, I'm at the beginning of the skateboard-level, but I've got a score over 42.000!
Let me explain what happened: I had gone with a score low over 35.500 in the skatetunnel, then, when I was at the final combo, I took too many gems, and I had these 42.000, but because the combo wouldn't count (you know, the cinematic then comes too early), I closed Rayman 3 with Ctrl+Alt+Del, and when I restarted, I had the score at the beginning of the Skatetunnel-Level which I had after the final combo
But what shall I do? Shall I gain the chance getting 50.000 in this world or shall I be fair and let the score be?
And trust me, I'm not a cheater! I didn't reckon with that

This strange glitch can make you the top scorer if you exploit it! But personally, I don't think I would. If you do use it then your victory shall be incredibly hollow, and you'll have beaten the top scorer with no effort. Fascinating though!

And I'm not just saying this so that I can remain 3rd

Well, I really dunno, it's so seductive, but on the other side, I would have a walk-over without doing much. Or I will subtract the number from the score which I'll have after finishing it and then it's the same. Naah, holy shit, it's just not fair, I see it. But wouldn't you react similar? Screw this, I still haven't got the score I want, normally I would have 43.300, but for this way I only have 42.600.
I know, you'll call me a fool when I do it, so......

Wow, what a glitch . Well, like Xenon said I would think twice about finishing the game like that. The point is that you no longer can compete on equal terms with sfn, Jona, Xenon, DTUCC and myself. And while you may climb a few positions on the HoF, you will not have earned that by using your creativity, dexterity and persistence. There will be little respect about your score when it's achieved like that. So, if you still want to compare scores and exchange ideas on equal terms, I suggest you forget about it, although it is tempting.

Mostwanted, why don't you copy your current savegame and finish the level with this incredible score? You'll have two saves, one with the glitch and one without it. Then, you'll have time to decide whether you want to continue with it or not. If it happened to me, I don't know if I would consider it genuine, but at least, I would save it immediately so that I don't regret it later. After all, many glitches have been used by top players, and you should definitely think about it.
Basically, the mastery of the glitch would allow a 100,000+ score in FC (provided you can repeat it), but if only PC players can trigger it (or, even worse, only you), it would ruin all competition with other players.
In any case, make sure you cover your ass and save it somewhere

Normally I had 35.500 after Part 5, so this had me normally allowed a score of 43.300, but without using the glitch I just would've these 42.686, which is kinda annoying, because it took me a long time to get a decent score after Part 3.
Yeah, I also think it's the best choice to copy the savegame. I won't repeat it, particularly I think it was a lot of luck, too, and it would just be unfair and I couldn't have a compitition between the top-players anymore. When you just could trigger it, I just had 35.500, but you could have 37.000 and then we were able to get a score of 52.000 in FC

ROFL! Brilliant glitch. Maybe you should try out if you can pull it off again. at some point there will be no improvements left in the game anyway, so why not fuck around a bit, haha.

Hehe, yeah maybe it was over the top. Salt in an open wound and all that. The temptation must indeed have been overwhelming. Hats off to Mostwanted for making that decision.

Actually something similar happened to me about a year ago. I have had another game open (not the one with the max score) on HH part 2 for a long time. I finished part 1 with a score of 00001 points, so I could enjoy this part for fun trying to get as high a score as possible. I wanted to try something new and just wanted to finish off the Elite Monger. I thought I had hit him enough times and went for the HMF. But he didn’t die and I ran into him. Befuddled I pressed almost every button on the remote. In that process he must have died and I got hit by the other Hoodlums at the same time as I left the game. When I turned on part 2 again the score was not 00001 but 99.99x something. I could easily have let the other Hoodlums hit me for a few hours and then finished the game with the Tribelle Combo in the next room. The score for HH would have been 114.759 points. Hope this is to some consolation for Mostwanted.

As concerns the HoF, I phoned my contact yesterday, and I have received an email from the head community and CRM manager. So far, they weren't able to find the algorithm, but thanks to MandM's codes, I have performed a few tests which proved that it still exists, and I have explained it all to my new contact.
By the way, he seems ready to help us for anything else and apparently knows about Pirate Community, which may prove useful in the future.

Yeah, but where would we be if we had to turn the game on and off incessantly in the middle of combos? It would incredibly annoying to play like that. I'm sure I could never trigger my glitch again in a thousand years.

I tried to get the highest possible score on the other game with this glitch, which is 103.049.
How I said, on the one game I play normal (there I have still my 837.000) on equal terms like you, because Players who don't play on the PC can't use the glitch, and there would be a disadvantage for them, particularly I like it more to develope new combos and mess me like I normally do, not with these glitches.
