How could we improve the portal?

I think the Forum link should be more visible. The first time I saw the new portal it took me a while to find the link to the Forum.

Huge links are usually ugly and take too much space. I'm not sure whether we should move the forum link to the upper tabs, as they're supposed to be for Pirate-Community websites, but it may be a good idea after all.

I didn't mean for the links to be tremendously large, I was just bad with Paint.

What if the links were like the ones on the RayTunes main page?

I think certain areas of the forum should only be accessible to certian members e.g who have been here for a certain length of time and/or their post count.

And I think the pr0oO scores should be shown in the area under people's avatars ^^

EDIT: This isn't about the portal exactly, but in any screen resolution you can see the ship on the top image, but I've only ever seen the PC logo once, and that was on one of the school's old computers. I think maybe it should be reversed, but I suppose, you know it isn't really anything of extreme importance!

That's because the top banner is a 1280px wide image and it won't appear fully on smaller resolutions... maybe we could make sth like a fluid banner instead.
