Re: Off Topic
If I can recall, they use stem cells to generate the ear as an experiment, and as this develops they could be able to make such generated body parts readily available.
And about animal testing, it's a really, really difficult subject for me. Many major brands like Max Factor, Pantene and Herbal Essences, to name a few, are some of the biggest offenders; they do it to test new artificial ingredients for so called safety and effectiveness but there are hundreds of natural ingredients that do just that when it comes to make up and stuff.
Unfortunately, I have to use medicines from GlaxoSmithKline, who also test, to treat my ear infections and other minor nasties. You can't complain to a doctor that's trying to help you about it. It's a vicious circle, though setting all that aside, hardly any major toiletry products worked for me anyway.

To get rid of spots and the like, it's better to go get stuff from the Body Shop than buy these crappy advertised chemical-products that on-purposely don't work. ^^

Re: Off Topic
L'Oreal bought the Body shop out recently, so they're no longer trusted. Shame too, because I really liked some of their stuff.
Me and my sister found an online vegan store where they sell all kinds of stuff that sounds neat, and that doesn't test on animals. Some of the things are more expensive than conventional stuff, while others are much cheaper! Neither of us are vegans, but it's fascinated us at just how many vegan alternatives there are to stuff like marshmellows and jelly. I tried a vegan cheese slice once, didn't taste much different to normal ones.

They're forums of which ordinary members cannot access
It's likely that you stumbled across our hidden mods forum.

Re: Off Topic
It seems kinda pointless having convo's where only mods can talk on, but it makes me so damn jealous of you all.

Re: Off Topic
I can't seem to access these ones despite me being a mod. Odd.
Re: Off Topic
I think those links just lead to the 'access denied' message normal members get, not the forum itself. ^^

Re: Off Topic
They were on the Portal, so someone was posting in them just a few minutes ago
Re: Off Topic
I could be wrong actually considering the P symbol is present in that link (representing a specific post). Could be just an edited or deleted message then... not sure.

It's pretty sad that they're making fun of disabled people but their other video was funny (for the wrong reasons)

Re: Off Topic
In short, these are two useless messages posted by timoo in the French guests space. I suppose you haven't configured MyRSS to display only the messages from the English forums, which explains why you saw them on the portal. But, by the time you clicked these links, I had already sent them to the French basket (yet another hidden forum, only accessible by French moderators and super moderators). If you had refreshed the page, they would have disappeared from the portal.spiraldoor wrote:What are these about?
