Maybe the antitoons should return and join the hoodlums.

That's debatable, but I agree with you.Xenon wrote:Well the Robo-Pirates didn't return, the pirates in HH were mere statues. They weren't, and aren't, true pirates at all.
But my point was, the Robo-Pirates did make a reappearance of sorts in R3.
Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
I don't even think it's debatable, they are just statues. How can they be real pirates if all were destroyed by Polokus and the explosion of the Prison Ship?
EDIT: @ Holy Crap: In Rayman Revolution, the Teensies had electric guitars.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
Maybe Polokus missed a few. Maybe they ran out of energy and stopped moving, and then the Hoodlums found them and arranged them in Last Supper-formation. It isn't impossible.
I wish that room had more different pirates. Like Ninjaws and Razorwife and the green Henchman800s and the purple ones etc. I hate the way there are several Lackies.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
But if they would turn out to run out of energy why did Rayman have to fight the pirates ? And why couldn't he just have destroyed their energy plants then. It just doesn't fit if you look at Rayman 2/Revolution.Maybe they ran out of energy and stopped moving, and then the Hoodlums found them and arranged them in Last Supper-formation. Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
Well he eliminated all the pirates through force, he didn't destroy them one-by-one. Such a powerful strike of energy could leave no survivors.

What energy plants? They ran on Lums, as demonstrated by the fact that Razorbeard is seen eating a Yellow one and you find Red ones whenever you break open a Pirate.Joshua822 wrote:But if they would turn out to run out of energy why did Rayman have to fight the pirates ? They could have been in a warship, above the ground where Polokus's powers do not reach.Xenon wrote:Well he eliminated all the pirates through force, he didn't destroy them one-by-one. Such a powerful strike of energy could leave no survivors.
But I still think they're statues.

It's not impossible to make new robots, and maybe the hoodlums did that but they was never done.

No, Clark had a bass, Globox had a guitar, one teensie had a drum kit and the other a trumpet.Xenon wrote:I don't even think it's debatable, they are just statues. How can they be real pirates if all were destroyed by Polokus and the explosion of the Prison Ship?

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
Because the pirates eat lums doesn't mean that they ran on it. If that would be the case they would have ran out of lums very quickly because there only where 1000 lumsWhat energy plants? And Ly had a banjo, Uglette was dancing and some baby Globoxes were making sort of barking noises.Holy Crap wrote:No, Clark had a bass, Globox had a guitar, one teensie had a drum kit and the other a trumpet.Xenon wrote:I don't even think it's debatable, they are just statues. Only 1000 lums? That's not true at allJoshua822 wrote:Because the pirates eat lums doesn't mean that they ran on it. There are 1000 yellow lums, but the number of red lums is unlimited

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
Right, they're produced by Heart of World (that's why Andre wanted to posses the Heart - it would product dark ones!), but number of yellow lums is also increasing. Do you need a proof?

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
But there's only a thousand yellow lums
Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
No, not really, the hart consists of the red lums. And they can ran out too. André needed the scepter of Reflux to reproduce. If red lums would automaticly he wouldn't need Reflux's scepterRight, they're produced by Heart of World

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
No, the Heart is made of 1000 yellow lums. There can be no doubt about this.
But the idea that the yellow lums created the red, purple and blue ones, I can accept.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
The sceptre harnesses power from the Heart of the World, presumably, else it would not have the power and energy to convert black Lums to red ones.
And yes, there are 1000 yellow Lums: "the 1000 Lums that form it have been scattered". However, it begs the question as to why only 800 appeared in RR.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
There were 1000 in Revolution. You're thinking of the PS1 version.
I think that we can all agree that the combined content of the PC + PS2 + DC + N64 + NDS versions outweigh the differences in the PS1 version.

But why would André attack the heart of the world then. He wanted to transform all those red lums into black lums...No, the Heart is made of 1000 yellow lums. There can be no doubt about this.
And why are black lums so hairy,
And why am i so hairy...
