Re: What games are you currently playing?
I'm going on eBay on hopefully I'll be able to get myself a Japanese copy of Daytona USA Circuit Edition (Sega Saturn). I used to absolutely love that game and played it constantly, and the PC version I can't find anymore. Maybe sometime I'll also get myself a Japanese Saturn copy of Rayman, though I assume that's going to be a challenge to find...

TF2 is still eating up so much of my time.

As of the Scout Update though, I did enjoy going Pyro and hearing all those Boston accents yelling "FOIYA FOIYA FOIYA!!"

I'm playing Morrowind again. Personally, I like this more than Oblivion; it's a lot more imaginative and more thorough than the newer one. It feels a lot more real and thought-through, with a world with more history and background.
It also has less obligatory dungeon-exploring, and a gazillion more cities and small settlements, telvanni-cities, dwemer-ruins, stilt-striders, and huge castles and crossbows and the flying-spell, a world which is a thousand times bigger than that of Oblivion, and different places don't look pretty much the same, as they do in Oblivion. Also, it doesn't have those stupid demon-doors opening everywhere.
Oblivion with the Shivering Isles-expansion though... Now that's a whole different thing. Om nom nom Shivering Isles-expansion.
In some ways, Oblivion is better than Morrowind, though. For starters, Oblivion doesn't require the amount of time to "get into" the game, the history of the world and the current events, and the navigating-system makes things a whole lot easier. In Morrowind you can spend hours looking for a specific place. I remember being stuck at a supposedly easy Mages Guild-quest where I had to go look for a place called Punabi or whatever to collect someone's guild-dues, and I only got a description of the road there, but no marking on the map. It took me so long before I finally found it. xc
And the removal of enemies that attack from the air, like the cliff racers, was also welcomed.
Horses is also a good thing, because it makes travelling quickly a whole lot easier. In Morrowind, getting from one place to another could take forever, because you would have to walk as well. If you ran, your character would be exhausted, and if you ran into combat then, a lot of the creatures are so though it would probably kill you unless you have a full stamina, full health and have magica enough to summon some shit (I tend to play as heavily magic-reliant characters) to help you take it down.
But the thing I love most about Morrowind is that you can summon multiple creatures at the same time, as long as it's different creatures. C8 So when facing a though enemy, I just summon my army of oddities, and badabom, instant win. In Oblivion you could only summon one creature at a time. :c

Killzone 2. I bought a PS3 this afternoon, and it's an awesome game, the only problem is that I suck at first person shooters
I'm buying Resident Evil 5 tomorrow anyway

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I would recommend the upcoming God of War III, as it is the most awesome game there will ever be. No exaggeration.
GoW3 ACTUAL GAMEPLAY (which you must be over 18 to watch)
I'd also advise you to get Metal Gear Solid 4. I haven't played it, but a friend of mine said it's the best game he's ever played, and IGN gave it 10.0/10.0.
Also, Team ICO, the creators of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus (two games which have a sort of magical feel which reminds me of Rayman) are currently making a PS3 game which will be revealed at E3 2009, at the latest.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Jawbreaker on the old, old Atari 2600. It's actually a ton of fun. It's somewhat of a Pac-Man clone, though it's by far the best and most exciting of any of them on that console.
You control a pair of chompers and have about 10-some rows of rectangular food (I guess) to eat through. These rows have constant open space on the left and right sides, as well as a horizontally moving space on the barrier between the rows that you can cut through to escape danger. Your enemies are these 4 spinning head things who can only move horizontally one row at a time--if they want to show up in a different row, they have to exit out the side off-screen and can then reappear in the row on either side. You also have power pills occasionally pop up in the center of the middle row, which become pretty important. I don't think I've ever has this kind of thrill from a 2600 game.

I've been playing a hack of Pokemon - Fire Red called Shiny Gold, which is essentially a remake of Gold. For some reason I'm having a lot of trouble training my pokemon.

Currently playing Soul bubbles. Got it ages ago, but it was too addictive and I didn't want to complete the whole thing in just a few days...
