A seperate article for the beta(s) would be cool, because then we could post all the weird screenshots and such.

I'm not sure yet, I will have to play both of them a bit more before.

I managed to get further in that really hard level. But you reach a place where you're on drums, like in Bongo Hills, and there are four pairs of eyes shooting at you, and there are clouds high above that you're supposed to get onto but I don't know how. I'm stuck.

TIP: Start up VJ in several windows at once. This will slow it down and make it easy! :dango:

Geez the differences! :confus:

The music was awesome though, and Rayman sounded so cute when he got hit ^^

The second "medallion" of Band Land in the beta isn't possible to pass. There's a dead end in the level.

Do you mean you couldn't find the exit sign?

I think it was in the clouds above me, but I couldn't reach it. Rayman can't jump that high. Or maybe there is no exit sign.

We should definitely try to find out, maybe it's possible to reach other worlds. By the way, were you able to fight Moskito?

Wow, where did you find that? It looks very strange... o_O
The "0" in the lives number is missing, the tings number is missing, the amount of broken cages is actually displayed... and... I think that's it.

I found it on this site
http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~okiyasu/jagu ... rayman.htm

Among the jibberish there are some linked screens to beta shots that look either like magazine scans or VHS screens. I already knew about the ones with POW in the middle but I've never seen that one before.

Edit: found another

Wow... I haven't the slightest clue... maybe these became the Antitoons in the final. Also with the year 1994 printed on some of these, this looks like some really early stuff.

Yes. You know the Moskito's Nest level in R1 PS1 just before you fight Maskito? The level was sort of like that, but at the end of it Moskito just appeared. He didn't have his own little level like the bosses of the final game. I managed to beat him, and then I was sent back to the map. I can confirm that Skops isn't in the Dream Forest in this particular beta.

And can someone please upload the beta somewhere? My copy is gone and Sonic Cult have taken it down...

And here's some Rayman 2 (3D) beta screenshots and stuff.

Opps, seems to have been taken down from X Cult as well. I still have it somewhere.
