I don't manged to open the .bf file! I have tested with all bf unpackers I found.

And when I tried http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2483 I get access denied and AVG Free says that it was a Trojan Horse.

Well, currently, XeNTaX doesn't seem to work, but if it's the RRR unpacker posted by "Savage", then it's definitely not a virus. No idea why AVG would say that, but I would really think about getting another virus scanner, like Nod32 ( or ESET Smart Security ).
And you can also extract it with that unpacker. ;)

I had NOD32 once, I clicked Update, and it downloaded a virus. Anyway, after the update, my XP was runnable only in the "Alert Mode" (or whatever is it called in English).

Then you probably had left Nod32 unactivated so another virus could change the update server settings. XD

Turn off AVG, download the thing, then turn it back on

I still get file errors! :( Maybe I should try to extract the rar file with WinRar instead of ZipGenius..

Just to let everyone know, I've stumbled upon the way to decompress the BIN files accidentally, and I'll make good use of it while I still remember it. :P
I was testing RRR on Dolphin, and I remembered I was trying to rip the R4 prototype. I don't think I'll be able to get it with decompressed BIN files, and I don't think Ubisoft will have left everything in there, but there is a chance... :)

I'm doing that right now. :P
It's going to take a long, long time though. There are 1463 bin files, and you can't unpack them all at once. :(

Oh, and there are definitely sounds inside the bin files. Sounds, textures, text, etc. I have no idea what the sounds are for. All of the normal sound effects are located outside the bin files.
I'll need to reinstall my extractor program. :D

EDIT -> Okay, now I am CERTAIN that Debug mode is in there, which would probably give us access to all the leftovers.

Here's a quote from one of the decompressed bin files:
\h0.1\\cFF00FF00\\P11\Cheat Debug ACTIVATED \h0.1\\cFF0000FF\\P11\Cheat Debug DESACTIVATED \h0.1\\cFF00FF00\\P11\Cheat: All Challenges Unlocked \h0.1\\cFF00FF00\\P11\Cheat: All Dances Unlocked \h0.1\\cFF00FF00\\P11\Cheat: All RM Shapes Unlocked \h0.1\\cFF00FF00\\P11\Cheat All FPS Unlocked \h0.1\\cFF00FF00\\P11\Cheat: All JukeBox Musics Unlocked
I knew that there were cheats in here, but I didn't know there was a cheat to activate and inactivate debug mode. :)
I hope we'll be able to find the way to activate the cheat too. :P

With debug mode, we'll be able to do a lot.
For example, disable the variable that disables Rayman's jump ( "RM_control_disable_jump" )... :)

Oh, there are some more nice variables that I've found, for example "o_Globbox_LoveTarget". :P

Yeah, I know it sounds weird. :P

Anyway, I decided to stop, exit the program and decompress more later, but then I reopened the program, and... the function I used is just gone! :P
The function seems to disappear after the first time you use the program on your computer. I'm not able to use it anymore, just like last time, but I was able to use it today because I reinstalled Windows Vista ( deleting everything on my hard disk ) and never used the program after that. o_O

Oh well, I might not be able to use the program anymore, but I don't care, I now have the 85 largest bin files decompressed ( 202MB total ). ^^
I'll reinstall my extractor program soon to see if there are any nice textures/sounds/models/other things from the old R4 in there. :)

I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall Vista again so you can use the thing again. :boon:

No, it's probably something in the registry. I'll just look for all entries with "PersianRUG" ( that's the program that has the decompress function ) and delete the ones I can delete without damaging my system. :P

Registry, eh? I always wondered how free trial versions of programs wouldn't work when I uninstall them after their trial period runs out and then I reinstall them, if that makes sense...

That could be because of things in the registry too, yeah.
EDIT -> Got it! I can use it again. :P
Every time after I use it, I just have to delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Turfster" ( Turfster is the nickname of the creator of the program ).
