I disagree completely with that last bit. What you're basically saying is that if someone gets drunk and crashes a car they deserve to die, or if their impeded judgement leads them to insult a bunch of bikies they deserve to be horribly beaten.

I have to agree with HC on this one. Like the whole "If something isn't proven it doesn't exist" theory.

So you think her child deserves to grow up with no one to take care of them? C'mon, this is just unfair, you can't sentence someone to a shitty life.Serza5 wrote:If a woman got drunk and had sex then she deserves to be pregnant therefore she shouldn't have an abortion.
Re: Religion - your views
All I have to say is that I love the Lord, and will always do my best to live for him. My life is in his hands. When I'm in trouble, he will deliver me from them if I follow him. He will never leve me nor forsake me.
Re: Religion - your views
Does her child deserve dieing ? No, the woman and the biological father should take responsibility for their actions. And give their child a life as good as she can provide. So you think her child deserves to grow up with no one to take care of them? C'mon, this is just unfair, you can't sentence someone to a shitty life.

Someone who isn't born can't die.
Re: Religion - your views
There's nothing wrong with abortion in my eyes. Absolutely nothing at all. If a woman doesn't feel she can provide parental control over a child, she shoudn't be a mother as in the end it's the child's fate that is at stake.
And cruelty? Come on, don't make me laugh. Killing an undeveloped, mindless organism is as cruel as derooting a plant. Millions upon millions of sperm are terminated every single day, anyway, so what's so diabolical about ceasing a few more?

Also, abortion is totally okay. Embryonic research too.

If all women who became pregnant as a result of consuming alcohol had abortions, the earth's population would be decreasing rapidly...Hunchman801 wrote:So you think her child deserves to grow up with no one to take care of them? Just because the mother was drunk when the child was conceived doesn't mean it will have nobody to look after it. Nor does it indicate a "shitty life".
Re: Religion - your views
I doubt that.spiraldoor wrote: If all women who became pregnant as a result of consuming alcohol had abortions, the earth's population would be decreasing rapidly...
If women who becomes pregant doesn't want children at that tiem take an abortion that's totally fine. Every child should be a planned and wanted child. Imo the right-to-lifers are a bunch of morons.

You're saying that children which are wanted, but conceived accidentally, should be aborted?Tobbe wrote:Every child should be a planned and wanted child.

That depends whether they were willing to raise a girl, I suppose.

No. Pay attention and stop creating straw man arguments.spiraldoor wrote:You're saying that children which are wanted, but conceived accidentally, should be aborted?Tobbe wrote:Every child should be a planned and wanted child.
Re: Religion - your views
We have an uncontrollably increasing population... it's more likely to stabalise it (although I see it unlikely to take much effect at all). Ergo aborting a child would actually be a plus, on that rather peculiar note.If all women who became pregnant as a result of consuming alcohol had abortions, the earth's population would be decreasing rapidly...

Re: Religion - your views
The problem is that abortion obviously causes jumping to other side - the number of people is decreasing, probably very fast (you and me don't know yet how fast because there was no country with no immigrants and 100% free abortion for everyone, which is there for... a century.)
Re: Religion - your views
That's an incredibly dumb thing to say. I don't think the vast majority of babies on earth were "made" while women were too drunk to know what they were doing.spiraldoor wrote: If all women who became pregnant as a result of consuming alcohol had abortions, the earth's population would be decreasing rapidly...

On Earth, right, but in Poland, I think it could be even 30% in 50', and I suppose it's about 15% now, including drugs, smoking etc..Limely wrote:That's an incredibly dumb thing to say. <<beware - "scienctific viepoint">>
And you know, if abortion would be a good thing, your so-called evolution would create natural aborter.

Read this!
You obviously have no knowledge of evolution (which is solid fact, btw), demographics or life in general. Your arguments against abortion are laughable. Please put something decent on the table or stfu. I didn't revive this topic for this kind of bullshit.

Look who says that. But O.K., I'll read whatever you want. And while I don't know official statistics in very good way, I know they're lying, so I have to use my observations instead.
EDIT: I read it. I was already aware of this thing (just didn't know its English name) while I was posting my opinion. Firstly, if you didn't see, this was an obvious joke (warning). Secondly, the thing you quoted is never, I repeat, NEVER intentional in world of animals - and if you trust macroevolution (I know you do), you believe human is just like animal in this case, and for some reason this doesn't appear in cases it could save mother's life. Thirdly, your commenting everything which comes from Stan in case you don't like his opinion as crap or worse is because you have way different life in way different place with way different people, so things you saw are way different than ones I saw, and your opinion can vary - I accept it, you obviously don't.
