My above comment should be disregarded if the footage is revealed to be pre-rendered.

It's definitely not pre-rendered. It's definitely in-engine, maybe even in-game.
You can see it's in-engine when you look at the shadows: they're definitely not as good as shadows in pre-rendered scenes.

It's really impressive, if a little Mirror's Edge-y.

Theres also a few reused animations here and there.

And bad framerate.

This can be caused by codec, but... you know.

That's just your computer or internet connection, because the framerate is actually very smooth. :P
EDIT -> Yeah, I just tried it on my sister's computer, and it actually works pretty slow there, while the framerate is perfect on my new computer. :P
Just watch it on Youtube then. ;)

I could still have my oppinion.
spiraldoor wrote: Obviously. What's your point?
Whiners are flaming Ubisoft for the Rabbids. They are the releasers, not the developers. Even if the developers are part of Ubisoft, they are not the whole company.
spiraldoor wrote: Japanese? Wtf are you talking about?
There were a discussion about giving Rayman to Nintendo, Nintendo is Japanese.
spiraldoor wrote: What exactly do you mean by "overreacting" and "acting stupid"? Who are you talking to, and which posts are you referring to?
I'm not gonna name people, pretty much almost everybody went on fanboyism, from page 1, and those know they should take the message, swearing, and all caps, and huge red words, and saying "kill this developer" or "kill that company", that's overreacting and acting stupid, and also it's ridiculous.
spiraldoor wrote: I keep reading that paragraph again and again, but I can't quite manage to extract any meaning from it. (Btw, you didn't read those 26 pages.)
It's not my problem that you can't manage to decode sentences. (No I didn't, I don't quite have time, and patience to read all day that 26 pages, you know I have a life to live, and I'm not just sitting in front of the Pc to waste my life on a forum with making fanboy rage havoc. It might be a late response but instead of acting the badass guy you could just say, hey it's all settled.)

Attaching Rayman to Smash has nothing to selling him to Nintendo, as shown in Sonic's case.

And the pseudo-BG&E video is indeed looking good on YouTube...

Why? Just so Ubisoft can go "Oh look, 3 year long dev cycle adventure games dont sell on the wii back to the yearly minigames and Imagine Babiez".

I can get that you hate the characters enough to not play it, thats cool. But to hope it fails and bombs outright? Are you seriously that moronic? These types of games need to sell on the wii. Party games got a foothold because at launch thats what best showed off the controllers, but if people buy more adventure platformers like Deadly Creatures, De Blob, and Rabbids Go Home and other genres then we'll be seeing more devs willing to put in more of an effort instead of shovelware rubbish.

If you care at all for seeing this genre of gaming on the Wii, and ESPECIALLY if you want a Rayman 4 in some capacity, you better wish this game does gangbusters. Whether you buy it or not doesn't even have to be an issue here.

(And I swear to god if anyone replies to this post with that bullshit "Hurf hurf rabbid fans arent real people only rayman fans are" elitist nazi hitler mentality I am going to freak.)

I sincerely hope that this game fails.

Ahem. Drol's post. Future Rayman games will feature Rabbids. There goes your "oppinion".

Uh. Ubisoft ARE the developers. We are flaming them for making terrible party games.

Eh, not really. They can express their opinion, it's in the constitution or sth. No harm is being done

Congrats Spiraldoor, you hate platforming thriving at all on the wii and by proxy, you hate Rayman.
If this game fails, and Rayman 4 never comes you'll only have yourself to blame.

You think that if there's no Rayman 4 it will be my fault and my fault alone, because I don't like Rabbids Go Home? Roflmao.

I must agree on Ljijk on this one.

Look at it from a strategic point of view. This game is platformer. If this game sells better then the rabbid games, Ubi Soft will realize that the public wants platformers. And so they'll make platformers. And so there's a good chance they'll end up building Rayman 4.

I myself am going to buy this game. I don't have a Wii yes. But it's for giving a signal to Ubi Soft. We need to let UbiSoft know that we want platformers !

I know, it's a long shot, but it's the best one we have to defeat the Rabbid party games.

If nobody buys RGH, Ubi won't think that NOBODY wants a platformer, they'll think that NO WII OWNER wants a platformer. Which won't affect their stance on a PS3/360/PC platformer.
