I saw the first post in this thread and was intrigued.
Drolpiraat, it appears that you are attempting to create the same thing which I wish to: a 2D Rayman 2.
I'm interested to see the final product, although I'm not going to cancel my Rayman Advance 2 (heck, I haven't even started it yet).

Looking forward to it.

P.S. What sprites did you use, especially for the guardians (Axel, Umber, Foutch, e.t.c.), and where can I find them?
