It sounds incredibly ambitious getting a Hoodlum in combo after a Lum. Assuming we are still talking about getting the maximum out of part 1, I can't see that it's profitable. And what's worse, it's infinitely more risky to play that way. These Lums are hard to control and if you have just managed the 27 yellow gems combo and the big Hoodlum combo with a good conversion rate of Black Lums, the last thing you need is a combo where there's a good chance that 500 points will fly away with a Lum.

How do you intend to use the gems and Pigs by the boxes?

You're right, the combo is really easy, if you have the know-how. Now I have it too, and I'm VERY Happy. Now I try to get 62000 after part 4!

Sorry to disappoint you, but you can't get 62000 after P4 with this score, 61400 at most and that would require perfect play and high speed on the way back to the first room.

Part 4 TBOM is one of my favourite parts in the entire game. Not because of the scenery, not because of the combos, but because of the challenge. The part is not excruciatingly difficult to play, but it's an excellent challenge and really makes you able to enjoy the game after undergoing the pains of part 3.

My advice would be go for the maximum. I did and it wasn't even hard. Don't miss a single 30 points out... it will make you feel great afterwards.

And I'm determined to get this first Heckler combo'd. Even if it doesn't help improve the overall score, it could at least give me the satisfaction!

@Xenon: I dont now, I played the Green-Gem-Combo perfectly, but without the Matuvu in combo, because the blue Lockjaw would run out then. All the yellow gems was for 3 times with Lockjaw in combo. The last combo worked perfectly too, so I don't really know... And yes, I'm going to get a Triple-Razoff-Gltich (that means 3 hits, not 4)!

BOM: 90312!!!!!

I had 82800 after Razoff and then I got this 90000 with the Razoff-Trick!!! Now I have to play FC for an good score, and now my question: what combos are useful for 36000? Please give me some information.

I can try:

-Dwarf-Combo
-3MC
-4th Matuvu in Part 3 for 1000
-1st Matuvu in Part 4 for 1000
-Tribelle for 2000.

Now, with ALL these combos, I could get sth. around 40000, but I don't want to try all this hard stuff in one time. So I need yor help. Thanks!

Well done! That's a very decent score for such a difficult level. I take it you only triggered the double glitch, though? The triple glitch would have given you a further 4500 points, but it's so much harder to trigger.

I think I'll also replay TBOM now as attempting a half impossible score in TTOTL seems rather pointless when there are still levels in which I can improve my score. I'm most fearing part 6 as it was this part I buckled last time I played TBOM.

Oh and by the way, comboing the Heckler is indeed possible; I succeeded in this last night.

@Xenon: It's a bit irritating for me. A Tripe-Gltich for me means 3 hits. What you mean is for me a Quatter-Gltich, that means 4 hits. I did 3 hits

One hit is not a glitch, so why call it a simple glitch then?

Exactly, the glitches are numbered by the amount of additional hits that inflict Razoff, as these hits aren't conservative to normal gameplay.
The quatter glitch (or rather quadruple glitch) does not exist.

Originally, two hits were named double glitch, three hits triple glitch and four hits quadruple glitch. Everything was clear in the good old times but then there came MandM and he changed everything, even the terms. As a player of the old generation I'm still more familiar with the old definition (which also makes sense in a way, consider that you get double points for a double glitch).

@Cut: When you want to get 36000, you don't need any of that stuff. Go for a 2-Matuvu-Combo in a part 3 with the first one in a 1500 and the second one in a 2000-combo and the 36000 should be a piece of cake.

Sorry about the confusion it apparently has generated. I just followed the logic.

1 hit: no glitch
2 hits: a glitch
3 hits: double glitch, as it is two extra hits and so on and so forth.

Xenon: Good job to combo the Heckler. By the way, I have scored 59.500 points in part 1 this weekend. I just need 500 more points. I guess I have to hope for a better Lums conversion rate next time. How many points are you able to land in this part with your combos?
