Stan failed to create a haiku.
Now let's hope this haiku is "autumn"...

Meh, I prefer to rhyme.
I can do that on a better time.
And the fun is much bigger, though not really immense...
... even if they don't make sense!

You are wrong, you swine
Haiku only have three lines
That often do rhyme

Five syllables, then
Seven syllables (not ten)
And five once again

I don't think I'll close
'Cause I know no threads, so
We'll see how it goes

For reason of truth being true,
I have seen longer haikus, have you?
But I'd accept three-line long review.

I think Stan and R4321 Should read Xenon's post. As well as being Awesome, it explains how to make proper Haiku.

Haiku often has
Seasonal References
For no real reason

Haikus don't have to rhyme, but they do ahve to have 3 lines with 5 syllables, then seven syllables, the 5 syllables again.

This thread is failing.
PC Just doesn't Haiku.
It was worth a shot.

What's important is the number of moras, not the number of syllables :P

Poetry equivalent of line is "mora" in English, right?

Truth can I muster
Linked with consonant clusters
A mora's just a

Type of sound phoneme
That follows the sound regime
To one uttered theme

'Breeze', I may well say
Is one syllable astray
Yet is two morae

Matter does this;
The problem indeed exists
But let's just fuck this

And moving into
You, yes you Holy Crap you
Exceeded my view

This topic is good
But remember guys we should
Keep it withstood
