Re: The legend of zelda topic
I played the N64 one, and I didn't see what all the fuss was about.
~Then again, I didn't play a lot of it.

Re: The legend of zelda topic
I'm gonna have the whole internet kill me but I only liked one LOZ game and that was Link's Awakening. I could give the others a chance [again] but I'm not really interested at the moment. :/
Re: The legend of zelda topic
Then you could play LoZ a link to the past, it has the same gameplay and stuff but this time the (different) story makes sense and it's alot bigger and new graphics.
it's for the SNES and GBA

Then again, I didn't play much of it. I can only assume it got better.Holy Crap wrote:That's what I thought.spiraldoor wrote:I played the N64 one, and I didn't see what all the fuss was about.
Re: The legend of zelda topic
It does. But you have to remember that you're playing an old game. So think of it as if you were playing it around the late 90's.
I have to say, the final battle in Ocarina of Time is by far the most epic of final boss battles in all of video game history. In my opinion.

Re: The legend of zelda topic
I played Super Mario 64 and quite liked it. I played Ocarina of Time and was thoroughly disappointed.Shawn wrote:But you have to remember that you're playing an old game. So think of it as if you were playing it around the late 90's.
I didn't play much of it either, but it was so boring...
Re: The legend of zelda topic
I have Twilight Princess for Wii and The Minish Cap for GBA... I liked a lot the Twilight Princess (And it was the first Zelda game that I was playing XD) but the other one I think it isn't the same...
People were saying that the best Zelda was the Ocarina of Time but is that true? Oo

Re: The Legend of Zelda topic
I'm playing trough TP and OoT now, I quite like them, but I prefer TP. The great Fairies in OoT scare me.
Re: The legend of zelda topic
The first part is kind of boring. (collecting Rupees to buy a shield and to look for the Kokori Sword) but it's pretty cool once you start getting into the action. But you have to be good at puzzle solving in order to pass the dungeons. It's not all action.Holy Crap wrote:I played Super Mario 64 and quite liked it. The two best Zelda games by far are Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. The other ones are masterpieces, but I think the ones that are the most fun to play are those two.
Re: The legend of zelda topic
When i played OoT, it was boring in the Kokiri part (Shawn mentioned that part)!!
The goron part was awesome.... but then the Zora part... i found it terrible!!!
But at the princess it was getting better...
BUT THEN!!!
I saw the temple of time cutscene!!!
I came out of the temple and i was like 0_0, then it was getting epic!!

Super Mario 64 was good but nowhere near as good as I was expecting it to be.
