OMG, I only saw "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" in last Saturday, and I still must see the Phoenix's Order! I would love to see the Half-Blood Prince but I won't until I see the 5th movie...

I recently watched the second one, and am starting to read the accompanying book. It's amazing what parts of the book actually get in the movies.

Teehee I do like those special effects, eg that scolding letter.

Some people I know are quite annoyed about some of the minor plot elements they left in while taking out more important ones.

The romance in Half-Blood Prince was sweet.

Recently watched My Neighbour Totoro in full this time, and man it's one of the most carefree movies I've ever seen. :D

I recall knowing almost everything that was going to happen in the Deathly Hallows before it came out.

~The concept of the Hallows themselves, however, was a complete Deus Ex Machina. I expected better from you, Rowling. As if introducing the Horcruxes in the sixth part of a seven-part series wasn't bad enough...

I haven't really watched ANY of the HP movies after the 4th, to be honest. XD Got nothing against them, just find them too long for my attention span. Besides, Half-Blood Prince is especially a no-no for me...that was the point where the series tried to take itself seriously and in my opinion, where it really started to suck. XP

What I DID watch not all that long ago, was Coraline. One of the best one and a half-hours of my life it was. X3

I've watched it now. It was good, but there should have been more memories.

Really, really enjoyed HP. Since I know the books practically by heart I had no trouble just focusing on the visuals. And boy, was the visual side stunning. If you have any interest in this movie whatsoever, DEFINITELY go see it on a big screen.

The House of Gaunt one, and the one involving the Defence Against the Dark Arts post, specifically.

Phone Booth--great movie that was purely thriller. Quite honestly though, the ending was a little lame and it would've been better suited as a 30 minute special rather than an hour and a half of a guy in a phone booth talking to Kiefer Sutherland.

Just watched another Ghibli movie, Grave of the Fireflies. In contrast to Totoro, this one is really depressing seeing as it's set in WW2 Japan and everything.

I've heard that is quite melancholic... But I loved to watch Sprited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. :D
