What type of creature is this?

Post by ZuTheSkunk »

Maybe there is some topic like this, but I can't find it.

I'm trying to complete RayWiki's articles and add all missing pictures everywhere, but I'm not sure what type of creatures are on my screenshots. Can you help me?

  • The first one is called a paluchard.
  • The blue thing in the Xowar room is probably a mawpaw.
  • The creatures in Razoff's mansion are very likely to be called the ugly.
  • The slingshot-like enemies in the Bog of Murk should be the muddies (or muddibogs).
  • The blue bird in the Xowar room is thought to be a glute.
For more information, please read the Globox's species topic from here.

Note that the four last names were somehow guessed by elimination.

The name Muddibog is definitely official because the enemy-bio function provides us with that name. As far as I know there's no concrete documentation for any of the other creatures though.

What is the Xowar Room? Is it a secret room, how do you get to it, is it not supposed to be accesible to players? Why is there those unique creatures in it? And as for Xowar, isn't that the big hairy monster in that Hoodlum artwork?

Before beginning of the fight against Reflux, there is a moment with some stairs. On the one floor, there is two Knaaren's statues. I'm not sure how it works, but probably if you get enough points during Leptys' Tower, then in this place should open entrance to the hidden room.

The Xowar features on one of the loading screens (the one with the Hoodlums), and it's the larger creature in the right cage in that secret room. It's a scrapped character.. probably got replaced by Reflux.

Just looked it up on YT and it looks awesome, R3 has great secret areas! What score do you need to get in?

44412. You can check my save, if you want (and if it will work).

You could have done this question in Rayman 3's topic, since you bumped an old topic.

It isn't very sure about the real unlocking. I think it is related with the overall score of the save file and the score of the TOTL level itself. Both must be fairly high.
