The platforms do look nice (especially with the lights on the sides), but I honestly think that now, they look a little bit to rough and uniform. Especially with the outside scene, where it's supposed to be dirt. I'd recommend using not so many straight lines for those.

Indeed, I meant to say this earlier, but I forgot; the earth platforms should have a raggedy earthy trail thing hanging underneath them.

Good question. I probably put it there because it looked nice. I might change it into a dirt platform then.

I'm right now busy drawing the most beautiful area in the demo. It's going to have a real Rayman-ish magical atmosphere. ^^

It is a part of that place, yes. The hands that hold the Great Protoon are near there.

I can also understand why Spiraldoor said the blue mountains. After all, it's partially correct! The mountain seen in the back is part of the blue mountains.
Still, the Great Protoon is not in the blue mountains. You'll see what I mean once I have completed the area and my view size modifying system is fully working.

Nope, sorry, the only temple/sanctuary in the game is this one. Still... depending on what your ideas for the shadow sanctuary are, I might put them in. I can't tell you where yet ( that would ruin a part of the story for you ), but can you please tell me what your ideas are? I might be able to use your ideas for an electric sanctuary as well, so can you tell me those too?

@Acarr: Don't worry, I'll probably change that soon. I'm also adjusting the view size, so the head won't seem so large anymore and you'll be able to see more.

Here's a quote from my "script" that explains what it is.

It’s a fantastic sight. A statue of a dragon-like creature is holding the magical orb that radiates positive energy. When he reaches it, he hesitates. Would he take the Great Protoon and ruin the harmony of the world he has always known ( and which he liked, even though he was on the dark side ), or would he leave it there? Through another door, Mr. Dark comes in and goes toward Electrix. He tells him: “Beautiful, isn’t it? Too beautiful. That statue you see there, the one that is holding the Protoon, is actually a statue of the creator of this valley. When he saw the endless chaos that ruled here, he gave a gift to the people. He granted them the Great Protoon: a magical orb that radiates positive energy. The limbless then showed him their gratitude by making a statue of him that holds the Great Protoon in its hands... It’s a magical statue, designed to lick good people and scare off bad people, just like the Ancient himself does. Justice. But not for me.” He then tries to take the Great Protoon, but Electrix has decided: he will defend the orb that radiates so much positive energy that he has now become a creature of pure light. Still, against Mr. Dark, you are powerless… After a short fight, Mr. Dark casts a spell which hits the Great Protoon. The Protoon is thrown right, to the side where Electrix is standing. A chase begins, but at the end, a rock blocks your path and Mr. Dark knocks you out.

He's supposed to be holding the Great Protoon in his hands. I didn't put the Great Protoon in there yet, though, so that's why it's missing.
The drawing ( that's why the texture's so simplistic... it's a drawing! ) on the wall is the valley of Rayman 1. It's the valley that the Ancient created. The statue of the Ancient being in the middle of it symbolizes that he is the creator. The Great Protoon in his hands ( not on the screenshot though ) symbolizes the Ancient giving the Great Protoon to the people.

That room is beautiful though, seeing it as a whole.

The only thing I'd worry about is system requirements, because the larger the view with a lighting engine, the higher the VRAM needs to be to run the game.
