nullDC fucks up...

Drolpiraat said a while back that the only Dreamcast emulators compatible with R2 are nullDC and Chankast. He also said that R2 crashes Chankast when you select 'New Game'.

DEmul is compatible with Rayman 2 as well, but it won't allow me to map any keys, so I can't even make it past the title screen (maybe a config file could help). It's full of texture glitches though. As for Chankast and ChankastEX, they don't even detect the game disk.

There are also other things like DVD and VHS recorders.

The quality isn't as good, but it's the best solution if you don't feel like playing Rayman 2 24/7

This is drk||Raziel's list of nullDC bugs and fixes. Rayman 2 isn't mentioned at all, so it would seem that he's not aware of the problem.

That "1.6" is a beta actually. Really, try out the 1.0.4.

Whoa, this is GREAT news! I hardly have time to post here so I won't be able to check it out before a couple days or weeks but at least I'll be able to get the missing snapshots for the wiki

I just would like to report that the emulator still shows a significant quantity of graphical glitches, some musical glitches and sound glitches aswell. But we shouldn't complain a lot since it is still a 1.0.4 version. But still I'm quite glad this game is already playable and the FPS are always on the 60.
