The same reason Robo-Pirates spiral into nothingness when they are defeated.

The material could still come from Mawpaws if there was a transformation.. in fact it would be far more likely because I don't see it as logical for Hoodlums to suddenly acquire/lose this clothing.

They explode. but do you see wood when you destroy doors laying on the floor? No. Thus, those robots are good.

Where do they get those guns from, anyways?

That's a good question... The ammo is created on the Headquarters, but André on the cinematic got a gun at the same time he transformed into a Hoodblaster.

You clearly didn't read this thread.

Enemies disintegrating upon death is a gameplay mechanic. It means nothing.

~Why would damaging the Hoodlum enough causes it to "transform" back?

Good point. You damage its clothes, which are destroyed, and a Dark / Black Lum emerges. Is it by the way Dark or Black Lum? Black would make more sense (we have red, green, etc, but not a Light Lum, so).

It's 'Black Lum'. 'Dark Lum' is a perfectly acceptable alternative name, but 'Black Lum' is more appropriate.

Well, why would damaging it enough cause it to lose its clothing?

The clothing gets destroyed by being damaged enough.

May I remind you that we are talking about a magical fantasy world?

When Rayman punches them several times, their costumes shrink away and disappear

You've said that you agree the costumes are made of wool. I that's the case, where does the wool go when they "transform" back?

It's not wool. It's fur. And as you said, it disappears after the Hoodlum is defeated as it's standard gameplay.

Then what is this "transformation" you speak of?

If the suit goes onto a Black Lum, then it comes off the Black Lum, where's the transformation?

What do you think the transformation is into?

Don't think I'm doing too well here. Though it still can't explain, logically, how one miniature Black Lum could control such a huge unit.
