Yeah you're right about it being complicated, newbies would be all like "wut?" with loads of different icons beneith the avatars!

I really like this idea, where they are practically scarred onto your thingy, but the tings and ranks are fun though- they can't be removed! I still like my idea of the silver lums for the wiki, however.
You need a forum account in order to join the wiki, so everyone on the wiki is also on the forum. I think good work in the wiki should be rewarded in the forum, where everyone can see it.
Edit this thread into a poll. Get someone to move it to Off Topic, and leave a shadow behind.
I think it's because the PC websites forum isn't such an active place as off-topic. Maybe the members forum would be more suited though if it were to move.
I think it would be more practical to hear from more people first before there is a poll though...
I've got a better idea: I'll make a topic about forum ideas. We already have one about ideas related specifically to the Portal... now let's create one for the forum.

Or one for the site in general. We're going to end up talking about the portal and the wiki in it, anyway.
There should be a certain type of lum for making useful comments on Talk pages, too. Another fun idea might be to have exactly one thousand yellow lums between us.
