By the way, does the noise at the beginning of this song sound familiar to you?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anLkKUlk ... re=related
Well, this game was also made by Ubisoft....

Re: Rayman 2
Those rabbids with the NVGs in Rayman Raving Rabbids were references to Splinter Cell, as you can tell by the picture.

The N64 versions runs at 60fps in America?Phoenixan wrote:It could even just be the data dump itself too, really. The only one I know of that's out there is the same EU version I come across everywhere, which is a shame considering it runs at 50 fps (and you can tell in the animations) compared to the smooth 60 fps of the US console versions. While I'm pretty sure you don't notice this on a TV, since the UK signals run at 50 fps anyway, you sure as shit notice it in an emulator if you've just been playing a US version of a game rom.
~The data dump is perfect, by the way. It wouldn't have an exclamation mark in its filename if it wasn't.
Re: Rayman 2
Rabbids in Splinter Cell outfits are old now. I'd like to see that guy with a pair of bunny ears though. ^^
Re: Rayman 2
Damn right it does, and the slickness of the animations and movements shows it off for sure.spiraldoor wrote:The N64 versions runs at 60fps in America?
Probably just Project 64 then...
About the particles effects though as I've seen someone else comment on: that's actually an emulation error as well. You have to alter the graphics to "force alpha blending" (for the default graphics plug-in anyway) and they show up as their proper shape and color.

I thought only the Dreamcast version ran in 60fps?Phoenixan wrote:Damn right it does, and the slickness of the animations and movements shows it off for sure.
I figured that out myself while I was fooling around with the options. That alpha blending thing REALLY fucks with GoldenEye, though.Phoenixan wrote:About the particles effects though as I've seen someone else comment on: that's actually an emulation error as well. That's why you switch it off when you're done playing.

What emulator is this? PJ64?
And wouldn't having no alpha blend make the effects look liek shit?
EDIT:
Lolwtf, what's with the quote glitch? You and me both did it consecutively.
