Re: Movies you just recently watched
I want to watch that- but I've already seen 2 films released this year based around the World wars.

Go for it anyway. This isn't your conventional WWII film...
I mean, they actually GUN DOWN HITLER.

Re: Movies you just recently watched
Ah, what an ending!
Re: Movies you just recently watched
That's not even the real ending.
Re: Movies you just recently watched
Watched Adventureland last night with a bunch of mates.
I don't like films that rush the begining or the end, and this film did both. Plus went really slowly around the middle. And what didn't help was that I drank my coke way too fast and really needed to pee, but overall the film was LOL!
Re: Movies you just recently watched
Speaking about the World Wars, I liked pretty much "The Pianist".
Re: Movies you just recently watched
Going to watch The invention of lying this weekend.
Re: Movies you just recently watched
Well last Friday I saw Zombieland, and it is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I had tears in my eyes from watching the movie.

Re: Movies you just recently watched
Oh yeah, Kung Fu Panda is good.
Saw Wall-e a few days ago too, it's good as well.

Re: Movies you just recently watched
Hey PC. Saffya's youtube channel reminded me about this place so might as well pop back in on a mundane topic
I saw 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' yesterday and was just blown away
Seriously, I had no idea what this film was going to be like...and it astounded me. I laughed, I cried, I had fangirly spasms (Mr T!). Everything from the characters to the voices to the animation to the story to the jokes all worked like MAGIC. It hit home what people SHOULD be doing with 3D animation technology instead of striving for things like Avatar, which are very pretty but don't make a fun animated romp. This film had some of the most beautiful squash and stretch I've ever seen in a 3D movie.
If you've not seen this film I recommend it from the bottom of my heart. Even the end credits filled me with joy.

Dumb and Dumber. I can't believe I had never seen this film before now! I've seen the 1st film, but this was just as funny.
Re: Movies you just recently watched
Hot fuzz.
It isn't exactly something I've "recently" watched, but it's been my favourite since I saw it.

Hot Fuzz looks great. It's showing on TV here tonight.
Re: Movies you just recently watched
Hot Fuzz, is one of my favourite films.
It's brilliant, you'll love it, D.
Re: Movies you just recently watched
I've never heard anything positive about this film, I might go check it out in 3D. Supposedly if you put the glasses on you get a trippy effect.Raygirl wrote:Hey PC. Saffya's youtube channel reminded me about this place so might as well pop back in on a mundane topic

Re: Movies you just recently watched
Don't ask me why, but I always loved disaster movies. oo
Independance Day , The day aftertomorrow.
I never saw the first one, just some sequences. It looks preety nice foa a movie from 1996. ^w^
The day after tomorrow, I saw it...I loved it first, but when I see it again I get a bit dissapointed...There isn't many actions, and most of the special effects are shown in the trailer. oo
I also saw the Harry Potter 6...It's preety good, I'm waiting for the last one. (which will be in two parts. oo)
I also loved Wall-E...Aww, he is really cute! X3
But the movie I'm waiting the most if from the same creator of the two disaster movies I talked before.
2012
I actually don't believe the mayas. But the movie itself looks really amazing, as I love special effects. ^w^
I know that some wouldn't like the movie because of the theme or because it's too much irrealist, but as I said above, I LOVE disaster movies...oo I can't avoid to watch them. I'm not sadistic!

Re: Movies you just recently watched
Everybody around here's been raving about how good it was since it came out. I was even stunned to see it's place on IMDb--currently on the Top 250 at #131 with around 10,000 votes. I haven't seen it though it sounds better than what the commercial gave me the impression of.Jman wrote:Well last Friday I saw Zombieland, and it is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Wow really? I've only heard good things, but then again I'm an animator dork who gets excited over 'squash and stretch' XDJman wrote:I've never heard anything positive about this film, I might go check it out in 3D. I didn't see it in 3D, it's a good film without
