Excellent! Just one thing though, RayFan 9876. Did you ever get that bug figured out based on the answers I gave you?

He's talking about your Rayman Designer patch 1.2.RayFan9876 wrote:What is this again? I don't quite remember what answers and bugs. Refresh me.Rayman123 wrote:Excellent! Just one thing though, RayFan9876. Did you ever get that bug figured out based on the answers I gave you?

Re: Rayma Collector
You gave me these questions in Betilla's Garden. Yes, Rayman123 is my username for here and there.
"1. Are you using Rayman Designer or Rayman Gold?
2. Do you have the first Rayman patch by pok2/Opaquit (the one that lets you run it off Dosbox)?
3. Describe "freezing up". It stops responding? It crashes? Your computer freezes? It errors?" RayFan9876
Here are my answers, again, only edited to sound better.
1. I'm using Rayman Designer, but I use Rayman Gold and Forever CDs to try and run it. It failed.
2. Yes, plus I downloaded both of your patches to try and see if it would work. All three failed. I use the options 12,000 CPU cycles to prevent the game from running too slowly. This is the options for both patches. I normally use Fullscreen mode, OpenGL support.
3. With the Rayman Gold CD in, my CD-ROM drive it either comes up to tries/d to work it then crashes or comes all the way to a Drive Z screen and freezes.
Do I have to have the original patch or what? I have a Windows Vista: Home Basic. It's 64-bit. If there's anything you and me can do to get this patch running on my computer, let me know!

Re: Rayma Collector
I would bet you need to be using the patch on a 32bit OS, but I could be wrong.

No, RayFan made upadated versions of the patch for both 32- and 64-bit.syntheticgerbil wrote:I would bet you need to be using the patch on a 32bit OS, but I could be wrong.

A 32-bit OS... well... I don't really know HOW to check if you have a 32-bit OS or a 64-bit Os, it's one of those things you should just know. If you download the wrong one, it's not gonna work. Did you try both?Rayman123 wrote:What is a 32bit OS? plus is there still any way to fix this patch?

Re: Rayma Collector
He said he had Windows Vista Home 64 bit, so that's why I replied the patch maybe will only work on 32 bit Windows systems.
BUT if there is a 64 bit patch available now for the old Rayman PC games, then I guess he would need to make sure he's using those. I can't find a link to any of them on a google search though.
You could also try DOSBox if you are well versed in DOS emulation, Rayman123, as that usually will work as well, since the patches were made with DOSBox or similar DOS emulation I think. The only thing that DOSBox won't be able to emulate is the Mapper.exe for designing Rayman levels. Only the patch will make that work.

Re: Rayma Collector
His post was blatantly religious. Mine was not. He said "Thank God I own them!" when speaking of the Metroid Prime games, which was clearly a pre-meditated (and boonalicious) attempt to broadcast his daft beliefs at us, as if his signature wasn't enough. My post, containing the phrase "God forbid", was clearly not meant literally, as it was in Sean's case, and was more a mockery of Rayman123's boonity than anything else.PluMGMK wrote:Says the guy who read too much into Shawn doing something similar.spiraldoor wrote:First of all, Thread =/= Forum. Are those three minigames called "Globber", "Shoot the Pirate" and "Globox Shoot", by any chance?syntheticgerbil wrote:Rayman 60 Levels is about a 60 Mb total and then I can also upload the shitty 3 minigames app on the disc that is like 8 MB.

Fun Fact: Did you know Rayman Collector is the last game before Rayman 2?

I get the feeling those games are more interesting than what's on the CD, so I think they aren't. I don't remember if they have names...spiraldoor wrote:Are those three minigames called "Globber", "Shoot the Pirate" and "Globox Shoot", by any chance?
Goodness, I still need to upload this thing. I'll try to remember tonight!

Re: Rayma Collector
It's not that hard, it takes like an hour or two tops with moderately good internet. You just rip and ISO of the game (if that doesn't work, just copy the CD files to the desktop and stick it in an ISO) then stick it in a .rar or .zip then upload it to a website. I HIGHLY suggest FileFront.
So you'll have it by tomorrow?
