I agree, but...Rocky Balboa?Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:Rayman 3 is, by far, the best. Know why? It sticks to its roots! Just about every concept, every gameplay mechanic, every character from Rayman 2 is in that game, plus dark lums, Hoodlums, and Rocky Balboa (he reminds me of Foutch). R1 and R2 Forever are alright. If R1 had saving it would be perfect, especially with the final boss. Hoodlum's Revenge is great too, because you can play as GloboxAnd RRR is true to the series, but glitchy.

I've never once experienced a glitch in the many times I've played through Rayman Raving Rabbids. How come people are saying it's glitchy?

Haven't you ever destroyed a RabbidBot with the disco costume? The game basically suicide bombs when you do that.dingodile555 wrote:I've never once experienced a glitch in the many times I've played through Rayman Raving Rabbids. How come people are saying it's glitchy?

Mine deleted its own save file after the organic levels but after I made a new game it saved fine.

Since I'm not into the conversation, I'll just tell my favourite.
Must say I like Rayman 3 GBA best. It reminds me a lot of the first game, with similiar style of platforming. Also, it has nice graphics.

Rayman 3 GBA.
But I like some from the GBC, like Airy Tunes' music and Ancient Forest's music.

Bump.
Definitely R3 for GBA, it had pretty good gameplay and a nice story to boot. Though I have a small soft spot for Rayman Advance too, since it was one of the first Rayman games I played.

Same, also Rayman 3.
Re: Your favourite Rayman game on GameBoy
Since 10-year bumps are obviously not discouraged here...
Rayman 3 GBA for sure. Not considering the original GB/GBC games, as their quality is too low. Rayman Advance is basically identical to Rayman 1, with lower quality of everything (graphics, sound).
Rayman 3 GBA took interesting aspects of Rayman 2 and Rayman 3 and blended them in a completely original game, with perfect gameplay for the abilities of the GBA. It flows so nicely.
Rayman Hoodlums' Revenge took an original concept and completely botched the execution, so the game is insanely frustrating and annoying. You can read my personal review here: viewtopic.php?t=25312
Rayman Raving Rabbids basically tried to do to the Rabbids what Rayman 3 GBA did to Rayman 3 - take some concepts from the original, but wrap them in standard 2D-platforming matching the capabilities of the GBA. It can be seen as a sequel to Rayman 3 GBA, but way more repetitive, and thus boring.

Re: Your favourite Rayman game on GameBoy
I think the GBC games are pretty cool especially since I like older retro stuff. I'd have to go with Rayman 3 GBA though because it just simply has more to it.
