But how it can be both is what beats me.

Dude

Quantum theory? How did you come to such a conclusion?

Maybe this pic will explain how you get two solutions (you can get one or none at all too though)

sry the pic is lame but it shows the idea quite clearly I think

Our teacher already showed us this diagram when we were doing quadratic expressions. She thought we already understood such diagrams and didn't explain it well. Thanks for explaining it to me. :)

Two, or one, or zero (unless you're considering complex solutions ;)).

I love the fact that this is the sort of community where you can get people to help you with your homework if you play your cards right XD

Yeah, I know. I've got a history test in 20 minutes, and I really need to know what the economic consequences of the 1st World War was. :?

Painkiller has a "good" ending for Trauma difficulty. That is what I discovered last night. O_o

Oh, and I beat Battle out of Hell as well.

Awesome boss fight, but the level was no where near as good as Hell in terms of looks.

Doesn't matter. Fortunately we weren't asked about the economic consequences of WWI. Instead we were asked loads of bullshit about the Treaty of Versailles, which I knew all about.

I knew how to do quadratic equations, but the two different solutions just blew my mind.

I highly suggest you watch the video here for explaining the 10th dimension.. if you're into that kind of thing.
