More precisely, all moderators can now modify users' Tings again. This power was removed from them in late 2003, when some of them abused it.

Well there was the infamous “No-Tings bug” back then, and one of them had to nice idea to give himself a few thousand Tings in prevision of his future activity.

Yeah, it was fixed in early December 2003, along with other glitches, which resulted in a sudden revival of the forum.
