Re: Rayman M-Arena
So you didn't actually activate the special music mode at all, then?

Agreed. They should've had Clark or someone instead. But I still like it. It's supposed to be a race track and you can go off into a big beach. Of course the pirates room is the best. Ly's secret room in Rayman 3 is awesome as well, I always look forward to going to those secret areas when I play Rayman 3.PluMGMK wrote:I prefer that one too, because it's a funny cameo of characters which aren't in the game. Globox, however, is in Rayman M and the joke is totally destroyed if you happen to be playing a him.Phoenixan wrote:The Globox Secret was nice, but I loved the pirates in Rayman 3 more.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Yes, I do not know what that is too...
Re: Rayman M-Arena
I'm having trouble trying to play Arena, I just reinstalled it because it kept telling me to put in the correct disc, and it then worked once, crashed while racing, and now it's telling me the same thing again... any suggestions?
Re: Rayman M-Arena
I'm having the same problem with RM.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
You got any ideas?
Re: Rayman M-Arena
I never tried out the Arena version for PC...
Re: Rayman M-Arena
It's just an idea, but you could try to use a "no CD crack".I'm having trouble trying to play Arena, I just reinstalled it because it kept telling me to put in the correct disc, and it then worked once, crashed while racing, and now it's telling me the same thing again... any suggestions?
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Yeah, it's kind of stupid, but when I had it working, you did actually have to put in disk one, run it, it'd ask for disk 2, and then you put disk 2 in, and then it runs.
And you can't start it straight up with disk 2, you have to put in disk 1 first.
So you have to switch between 2 disks to make this game play.
Holy shit other games spoil us so much.
Anyway, since it's crashing on you, I'd actually check your video settings. It was 16-bit by default for me, which actually made the game kind of unstable. For example, on my XP machine, it kept randomly minimizing, and when I'd pull the game back up, all the characters would be invisible. Switching it to 32-bit video mode fixed this.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Oh noes, now that you mention it, Windows Vista won't start the game for me at the moment
I've tried compatibility mode, and running it with 32 bit graphics, but it doesn't work !
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Do you have 64-bit or 32-bit?

RaymanM.exe runs good, SetupUbi.exe however has some problems with Windows Vista, even when you run it on compatibility mode. So you should redirect the shortcut "1 To play Rayman M" to "C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\RaymanM\RaymanM.exe" instead of "C:\Windows\UbiSoft\SetupUbi.exe -play RAYMANM". Then Rayman M will run well
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Ah, yeah, I had similar issues with Rayman 3.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
That also needs to be done for Rayman 2, I found years ago.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Hmm, no I tried everything, and I'm still getting the error "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"
Maybe I'll end up just paying for the PS2 version...

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Did you also try the no CD crack ? And are you playing the game from the CD ( do you run the game from the autorun menu when you pop in the CD ? ) ? What version of Windows are you using ?Hmm, no I tried everything, and I'm still getting the error "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"

Re: Rayman M-Arena
As far as I know, there is no CD crack. Yes I've tried it from the CD menu. I'm using Vista..
Re: Rayman M-Arena
First of all, try running it from your hard drive ( the installer will have made shortcuts to play Rayman M in your start menu and on your desktop ).As far as I know, there is no CD crack. Yes I've tried it from the CD menu. I'm using Vista..
Here's a no CD crack. I didn't test it though, but it's wurth a shot.
