The Rabbid series may have replaced Rayman 4, but it isn't to be considered Rayman 4. Ubisoft have already conceded the Rabbids have given Rayman a different gaming stance; if anything the Rayman series has just died.

yes, it was Rayman 4 adapted from Rayman 1 in a 3D world (plus some new worlds). But it was supposed to be a small game, if I remember only 6 worlds.

In my opinion the whole Hereitscool stuff is a pile of crap. Good thing they moved on to something more consistent.

I suspect that the Hereitscool story was invented by Atari for a poster or a magazine, really. There's absolutely nothing indicative of it anywhere in the games or in any official source, other than that one image that seems to put a heavy emphasis on Atari and their Jaguar.

Something I just thought of: remember that stupid R4 trailer with the goth and the old man and all that shit? One of the gameplay clips within it shows Rayman on the back of an eagle, flying through tunnels of clockwork. Could this be the Temporal Palace?

I think Rayman 1 world is not same with 2,3 because Rayman 2 and 3 have same characters and many same things but Rayman 1 doesn't

MicaFeresz: You can find a rather entertaining (and saatisfying) discussion of the subject here. Unfortunately that discussion doesn't factor in the two moons in R1 SS or the R1 areas in the R4 artwork, both of which provide further evidence that it's all the same world, but it's the best discussion we've got for now.

CLARK1: It's entirely possible that I'm wrong about that being the Temporal Palace; I just thought that it was an interesting possibility. I'd really like to know when exactly the R1 areas were abandoned, seeing as how they made it into the GBA version. I'd like to think that Band Land or Picture City were present in the game they showed at E3, but we may never know.
