Quite possibly Reflux's predecessors, or just other Knaaren that had the ability to mutate. Maybe the circular area at the beginning was previously a battle arena... it would explain the bones' position. Interesting thoughts.Hoodie74 wrote:Maybe it was a giant knaaren god.

I mean what would a Xowar be doing there?
Re: SOTM #11 - Holidays!
Why do you always come up with the right thing at the right time?
Re: SOTM #11 - Holidays!
Who are you talking to, me, or Xenon?

Here's a theory, straight off the top of my head:Xenon wrote:Quite possibly Reflux's predecessors, or just other Knaaren that had the ability to mutate. All Xowar are fairly small; around the size of the one in TTOTL. One day, a Xowar that was being kept as a pet by the Knaaren, or perhaps being farmed by them, broke out of its cage and swallowed the Sceptre of the Leptys. This had a similar effect on it to what happened to Reflux; the Xowar grew enormous with the Leptys's power. It was then slain by an army of Knaaren, who hacked its carcass open to retrieve the Sceptre for their king (an ancestor of Gumsi's). They then proceeded to use the dead giant Xowar's bones as construction material, and created the area near the start of TDOTK with them.

Or maybe it's an extinct creature akin to dinosaurs.
Re: SOTM #11 - Holidays!
Or perhaps they're just there for decoration purposes. :3

Re: SOTM #11 - Holidays!
I was thinking that but that would make them non-canon, which definitely isn't the case.

You think you're a big man with that smiley, don't you?PluMGMK wrote:Or maybe it's an extinct creature akin to dinosaurs.

I'm afraid the Xowar we see on the loading screen (this one) annuls this hypothesis. All Xowar are fairly small; around the size of the one in TTOTL.
Although I disagree with Acarr, how would this make them non-canon?I was thinking that but that would make them non-canon, which definitely isn't the case.

By "just for decoration", I thought she meant thrown in by UbiSoft.Xenon wrote:Although I disagree with Acarr, how would this make them non-canon?I was thinking that but that would make them non-canon, which definitely isn't the case.

Or maybe not extinct. You can hear hoarse groans near the end, maybe some of those huge creatures are still alive. After all, the heat prevents most parts of the desert from being explored.PluMGMK wrote:Or maybe it's an extinct creature akin to dinosaurs.

When is the poll going to come up?
I was really excited up until when we started talking about dinosaurs

C'mon people, there's still less than a week left to go! And there's better prizes than before! It doesn't have to be about Christmas you know, so what's the hold up?
