Damn, Forza 3 is really good! Especially smashing into sportcars with a Dodge pickup at full speed and then receiving "fuck you" messages from the victims after they lose the race hard hahahh.

Alright will add you to friends next time I get on... prob is that I use the same monitor for both PC and Xbox. Oh well at least it's better than my old 480p TV set. :boon:
I'm vadalaz3000 btw. Was meant to be vadalaz but I messed up with the registration ffs. Had to choose United States as my region as Live isn't supported in Russia apparently. :tssk:

What the hell? They don't support live in Russia? But yet, if you live in Russia, you can just set your location to America? Why don't they just support it in Russia then? I don't get it. :tssk:

That's another thing that annoyed me when I tried playing Crysis with my gamepad (just to see if it played any better or whatever), and then I suddenly find that there's no way to go prone. Why don't they just make it so that double-tapping the crouch button makes you go prone a-la Super Metroid (down x 1 = crouch, down x 2 = morphball) or something? It's like the stupid design choices that were made with Bioshock (Function Keys for Plasmids). Why didn't they give you a key option for the gamepad selection wheel like how Undying dealt with spells?

In terms of Bioshock, I sometimes think they complicated things on purpose for the keyboard & mouse controls just to give the 360 more rep or something. Such bullshit.
I don't understand why developers sometimes make controls unconfigurable. It makes no sense at all to me. How hard could it be to implement? In the PS3 version of BioShock (and I assume the 360 version is the same), the R2 button is for shooting and the triangle button is for jumping (they should be R1 and X, respectively). They give you no configuration options whatsoever.

Another game guilty of weird and unconfigurable controls is Killzone 2. Seriously, what the fuck.

That's just ridiculous. X is ALWAYS jump, you don't mess with that.

Another thing: all console games should support UBS keyboards and mice. The PS2 version of Half-Life and the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 did it, so why isn't it more common? I probably wouldn't use them, but there are many people who would.

I don't care which button jump is, as long as it's either A/X, X/□ or Y/Δ, I'm okay with it (B/O just doesn't feel like a jump-button, if you know what I mean).

Just finished Halo 2 on Legendary, haha. It was some tough shit. At least I used a nice trick and got myself a banshee during the final boss fight. :D

Yeah, I just finished Modern Warfare 2 in Veteran, probably not quite as hard as Halo, but still pretty damn difficult.

Kudos, Jona! Halo 2 is brutal on legendary. Well done! :)

I actually found MW2 to be disappointingly easy on legendary. Halo 3 was much harder to complete on Legendary, and Halo: CE and Halo 2 were even harder than that.

Yeah, in MW2 you just die a few times and then progress, I've never really tried Halo on legendary. I've only got CE and used to have 2 but just played on regular.

I downloaded System Shock 2, to which Bioshock was a "spiritual successor", yesterday. I'm having a few control issues atm but I should have those sorted out pretty soon.

RE5 and RE Darkside Chronicles. Great games. RE5 is a little disappointing though, but I've unlocked so many things! :fou:

The worst thing in RE5 is that Wesker transforms. That should never ever happen :tssk:

Ah, Wesker. He was one of my biggest reasons for getting RE5. I love how his character was handled throughout the whole series. I agree, his final transformation wasn't very epic, although, it wasn't really much of a transformation. His arms and his torso. The location was cool, though. And his death was pretty cool. :destroy:
