Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
LOL I just write any old random word when I upload stuff on megaupload.
Now people, if you wanna up these to your youtubes, shall I post instructions on how to split them or can you do that yourselves?

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
At least for me I can do that. I could post on my youtube, while giving credits to you for the rip... But I think that others also want to upload.

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Bump bump bumpity bump I uploaded them all. Here's how I edit vids eg all my Saturn ones.
I fire up Virtualdub, and go straight to setting markers between which portion I wanna split. First you wanna edit the sound - first set it to "Full Processing mode" under the audio tab. Personally I set it to MPEG-layer 3 Mono, highest one, due to my half-deafness, but you can set it to stereo if you want, just make sure it's MPEG-layer 3 of the highest quality [usually about 7 KBps or something].
As we're dealing with the TV series, we don't need to do any fancy cropping and other visual filter effects. Leaving the resolution as it is [not resizing it] may enable high quality mode on Youtube which is nice and worth the upload wait. What we do need though is to set the compression to whatever DivX [XviD won't do because that goes out of sync] is there on your computer and set that to highest quality. Save the different parts, and that should be it. A typical 5 min video under my settings should be no more than 40MB so if it's way bigger than that, try again.

I'm just downloading the French ones now. Now all I have to do is work out a video description that doesn't make me sound a complete ditz D:

Thanks for uploading these Stacey
Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
All the videos work fine Stace.
Thank you very much.
Anyway I would like that Spiral could rip his DVD and upload the ISO somewhere... with covers included.

How do you split it if you don't have Virtualdub? [/noobyquestion]

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Virtualdub is a free app and it's also easy to download, just google it.
Um, did you just try to upload the whole of the first ep? That's like 11 mins long and Youtube will most likely reject anything that's longer than 10 mins.

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Sorry, but I don't have TAS. When I said that "making an ISO of the DVD would be a good way to go", I was referring to Stacey and her copy of it, just suggesting that an ISO would be better than uploading all three languages separately. I guess I should have made myself clearer.Haruka wrote:Anyway I would like that Spiral could rip his DVD and upload the ISO somewhere... with covers included.

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Indeed, that does look a little suspicious.
Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
I don't know any program that Stace could use to create the ISO of her DVD, does MagicISO works for DVDs?

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
When I ripped mine last I used CloneDVD and it came out as the usual VIDEO_TS files which are monstrous.

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Well I've got it ripped and it seems to work OK. It's 3GB again though so I;ll prolly have to use Chainsaw to split it.
