Actually, Thor was a god. The god of thunder, kinda like Zeus.
I know that already, what I meant was, was Thor a Viking god? Did the Vikings worship him? Some of them were Norse, so I'd be inclined to assume that they did.

So am I.

Thor = Þorr = old norse word for thunder (the god Thor is a personification of thunder, something quite usual for pagan religions).

Torbjørn --> Thor Bjørn --> Bear of Thor --> Bear of thunder --> Thunderbear
was Thor a Viking god? Did the Vikings worship him? Some of them were Norse
Yes, he was the son of Odin, the lord of the Norse gods (æsir). And all the Vikings were Norse. Viking = Norsemen.

Has anyone read the book called Number the Stars? It's the 3rd best book I read in my life. Anyway, some say we are in WWIII, as the world comes to a close.

But what do the "some say" know? :fou2:

No, Look I know this supposed to be said in the religion thread, but if Jesus the Son was to come back and pick us all up in 2012, there would have bee an Anti-Christ that was supposed to rise up in 2005 along with the False Prophet. He would have been ten times worse that ten Hitlers. Has he risen up? No, at least not yet. People will come up and try to trick you when the world will end. Don't believe that stupid Aztec calenders! The Anti-Christ would have seven years to rise the before Apocalypse and a lot of things like the sun, the oceans, the rivers/lakes, and 4 other things will be turned to blood.
Then the Final Battle between good and evil takes place. Then the Lord will rule for another 1000 years, then for forever.

I know you asked a simple question Stacey, but humans try to make up stuff to fool other people. I just gave you an answer, with evidence that is from the bible.

Grow a brain, you fucking moron.

As for your ridicolous statements on the Bible; let's take that discussion in the religion thread. It's been a long time since we've had ignorants like you here on PC...

All your tings are deducted btw, for your extraordinarily stupid, ignorant, uneducated and insulting behaviour.

Despite of being baptized as a Christan, I don't practice it and I'm not a believer.

So I also don't believe in those stuff.

Don't forget Saddamy!

About the WW3 thing - if we were really having a world war again, it'd be all over the papers by now and everyone will be shitting themselves. And no the war in Iraq is not a war to me.

A forum can only describe a user as type. To me a war would be a major one that would heavily involve a country like the Korean War.

I don't really have a fave event in history because I didn't study History enough [this is the beauty of the UK - by the time I was the OP's age I got to choose between Geo and History and I picked Geo so what].
