Re: Any questions on this board?
Yes, but it would take ages to move every locked topic.
Re: Any questions on this board?
We do have a forum where locked topics go. There are 356 topics in there atm.

Yeah, but that's invisible.
Re: Any questions on this board?
I see no point in making it visible though.

That's part of our moderation policy: we only delete pure spam and keep most of the other useless topics for informational purposes.iHeckler9 wrote:Why not?
Matyuv is right, the topics in that forum are definitely not worth reading.PluMGMK wrote:Yeah, but that's invisible.

But Spiral's idea is that those should go in a visible subforum.Hunchman801 wrote:That's part of our moderation policy: we only delete pure spam and keep most of the other useless topics for informational purposes.iHeckler9 wrote:Why not?

Let me rephrase my previous post:

Re: Any questions on this board?
While these topics can be useful to the moderating team (for example to track recidivist spammers), there is no reason to make this subforum publicly visible. As I said:
Edit: Matyuv beat me to it.Matyuv is right, the topics in that forum are definitely not worth reading.
Re: Any questions on this board?
I have a question.
It seems like someone took like a thousand tings from me. Who did it and why? Or am I wrong? I think I had like 2000 or so.

Re: Any questions on this board?
Certainly wasn't me, I wouldn't ever touch someone's tings unless they're really being fucking stupid
Re: Any questions on this board?
Now that's unusual.Matyuv wrote:It seems like someone took like a thousand tings from me. Who did it and why? Or am I wrong? I think I had like 2000 or so.
Re: Any questions on this board?
Simple investigation shows it's true though. I gave all my tings to Hunch on 22/12/09 and I've made around 400 posts since then so I should have about 2 thousand now indeed.
I doubt someone took them away though. Perhaps some posts were deleted or sth.
Update: logs show that Hunch's doing some heavy moderating. I wonder if that has something to do with my tings.

Are you understanding me? Spiral said all locked topics NOT in there should be moved to a visible subforum.Matyuv wrote:which is why the forum is invisible.Hunchman801 wrote:the topics in that forum are definitely not worth reading.

I rest my case.iHeckler9 wrote:Yes it was.Kelvin12 wrote:Only if I get to know this.
Was it really necessary to lock the topic, "Evolution of a Logo - The Mech Logo -"?
I mean, I don't even see why you started it in the first place.
I has a qweschun.
How come we can't delete the locked topics (thanks Kelv12 for reminding me)?
Oh, but if we can, then please, please don't delete the One Word Rayman Game by Clark1. That makes my day every time I look at it (thanks Xenon)
Re: Any questions on this board?
Right. All locked topics eventually get moved to Basket (or they are supposed to). We leave them in their original forums for some time to make sure nobody will ask where the hell their topic is.PluMGMK wrote:Are you understanding me? Topics that for some reason didn't go to Basket, are still in the original forums and I don't see the big deal about it. They go deep down the forum and don't hurt anyone. Creating a visible forum for them is useless because they are not worth reading as topics don't get locked without a reason.
Re: Any questions on this board?
How do you pronounce Knaaren? I always say it KUN-ARR-ENN but in the cutscenes the characters refer to them as KUN-AYR-UNN.
Which is right?
Which is right?
