Has anyone managed to get the PC version of Rayman 2 to work on 64-bit operating systems? (By passing the 16-bit DRM which keeps the installer from even working)

I'd really love to have this game on my desktop.

I think that people with 64-bit systems are still rare.

The lum probably died and this might be his grave.

I have the exact same problem with my6 Windows 7 64-bit. :) I have he problem with Rayman 2 and Rayman Arena. The installer won't even start up. Can someone post the install files (not the CD, the program files already installed Rayman 2/Arena files.)

Speaking of the 1000th lum and how it got there...

Anyone notice how the Tomb of the Ancients kind of looks like a giant sewer? :hinhin:

That's probably the purpose for which the pirates used it.

Did it just install, or did you download it? Because I got Rayman 2 (PC version) working via torrent download, but not working via disk install.

Torrents just tare up my computer. I installed it. It has a few issues, but I've worked it out. Don't forget the big pirate skull glitch!
Rayman9930 wrote:Also the big pirate glitch that 1st occurs in the Echoing Caves and in The Top of The World. I don't know about Windows 7/XP , but on W. Vista, there's an alternate way to fix this. Right click on the R2 icon and click properties. Go to Compatibility. Click the very last setting, "Run this program as administrator." If you have multiple users, click "show settings for all users." Click yes on the pop-up window. Do the same thing,"Click the very last setting, 'Run this program as administrator.' " I don't know about W7, but it should be similar if it can handle R2.

Or you can install the patch. ;) lol

But odd, because the install never works on my 64-bit Windows.

Oh, you're suggesting that the caterpillars are Popolopo <weird ''i'' with two dots>? I don't see why do you think so, but if I'm wrong then you just discovered a cool thing :fou: bravo

BTW I think I know why Umber doesn't fight you! Because to ''activate'' him, you need to be a puzzle solver, right? So that's about it!
And someone said that Ly said she talked to Umber if he would help Rayman (but in the PS1 version).

Maybe lums just respawn when they die.

Well, technically, like matter, energy can't be destroyed nor created, only transferred from one thing to another. Since lums are "fluffs of energy".... eh, forget it. :P
