After a long deliberation, the citizens of Paris came to the conclusion that Gregorio was responsible for the many murders and arbitrary executions which had occurred lately.

However, as they turned back to take him to the scaffold, not only did they realise that he had disappeared, but they did not even remember what he looked like or where he lived! His claim to be a random citizen suddenly made sense.

Except for a few die-hards, most people decided to sleep over it. After all, even though no one was killed today, things may be quite different tonight.

A stunning majority advanced towards him, and in no time he was taken to a makeshift court which quickly condemned him to death. “It's Super Star”, he said, with a sigh of despair.

As Echidna mounted the scaffold he appeared dignified and resigned. He refused to say anything else, and a few seconds after the executioner ordered a drum roll, he became another victim of the guillotine.
