I checked it out and didn't like it. But you know on Peggle Nights you can downloads free level packs on the Popcap website for more play. I believe there are three.

I have pre-ordered the special edition of BioShock 2 and I expected it to arrive today, but apparently something has gone wrong at the post office, so I won't get it until at least tomorrow.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I hear that the story isn't as good as the original's, but that was to be expected...
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've heard so too, but frankly I didn't expect it to be as good as its absolutely brilliant predecessor. It's still been getting very good reviews, so I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
BTW, has anyone got Modern Warfare 2 for ps3, 'cause I'd love to play someone...?

R1 and R2 were the best games in the series before R3.Tobbe wrote:I've heard so too, but frankly I didn't expect it to be as good as its absolutely brilliant predecessor. It's still been getting very good reviews, so I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it.

I haven't bought Bioshock 2 yet... we'll probably do that soon with my brother.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
It must be an addiction he had with the first one probably.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Gosh I still haven't played the first Bioshock. I don't want to play it alone because I hear it's so scary. I really want to try it sometime though.
I'm currently playing Bubble Tanks Tower Defense, haha.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
It's actually not scary at all, but a core part of gameplay depends on you jabbing large needles into your wrist about every 10 seconds, so if you're a sensitive person with a fear of needles you might have a problem with it. One of my mates, who's usually quite the hardass, almost puked when he saw me play it because he just couldn't stand watching my avatar stabbing himself in the wrist.
But Bioshock is a brilliant game, I recommend you to at least check out the demo. The story is absolutely brilliant, and the same goes for the setting and presentation. One of the greatest games of the last decade imo.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
When you play alone in the dark, some areas are quite scary... Hephaïstos or the Medical Pavillon for example. Anyway, the purpose of the game is not to scare you but to make you feel uneasy, disturbed, and it does it perfectly.
Agree, Bioshock is one of the greatest games I've ever played. Apart from FFVII (which is quite different
) it's my favorite game...
Plasmids ftw !

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I actually had BioShock's big twist ruined for me by a random boon commenting on an article I was reading, but it wasn't so bad; a good knowledge of both the characters relating to the twist is required to really understand it, and without that, the surprise of the twist (and its consequences and implications) remained mostly intact.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Bioshock is definitively on my list of games to get when I have some money to spare again, then. (I'm wasting it all on driving lessons baw)
And I definitively won't be playing it in the dark. Probably alone but not in the dark.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Played Mario Kart wii last night. What I hate about this game is that if you haven't played it for a good few months you suddenly suck at it like a beginner.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
If I haven't played any R game in like 6 months, I played like a pro...with more mistakes and all.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
The same thing happens with my Mario Kart DS.Acarr wrote:Played Mario Kart wii last night. What I hate about this game is that if you haven't played it for a good few months you suddenly suck at it like a beginner.

BioShock's big twist was spoiled for me by SystemShock 2. But regardless, I'm definitely buying BioShock 2 when I have money to spare again. Maybe when I get my federal tax refund.
By the way, anyone here ever play DEFCON: Everybody Dies?
