Rayman 3 for N-GAGE

Post by Haruka »

Since people have been criticizing my 1st question number 18, I want to know one thing: Besides of me, who else played the N-GAGE version of Rayman 3? And is there an article on RayWiki about this version? Because if don't I wouldn't mind to write about this version.

TBH I only knew like, one person who actually owned one of those things, let alone have a copy of Rayman 3 on it. Woulda been cool if there was an emulator for it so I can check it out for myself.

Is it not the same as the GBA version?

From what I gathered while looking up screenshots, I don't think so.

It isn't 100% equal, I must say. But is there an existent article of this on RayWiki or not?

You're better off probably including it in the Rayman 3 GBA one then.

It was just to make sure. Then shall it be, I'll try to write up the section, and once more sorry, I didn't know that almost nobody have played the N-GAGE version.

I have R3 for the N-gage. All I need is an N-gage.

Great, now we can find out more on this game. Gameloft ported this to the N-Gage after all.

That's correct, but there are just some changes on the game comparing to the GBA version.

When deciding which versions get their own articles, it doesn't matter if they're unique or not. Rayman DS was identical to the N64 version, but it got its own page because it had a different title. R2 PS1 and R2 DC didn't get their own pages, even though they were significantly more different from the original version than Rayman DS was. There's no logic behind it.

I'm nearly finishing to record my gameplay of R3 GBA, after I will compare the differences on my N-GAGE version and finally writting on the GBA section about the N-GAGE version.

EDIT: OK, I've done recording it. Next Monday I'll have information to write about the N-GAGE version.

EDIT 2: Alright, I already wrote a small section about the N-GAGE version on the GBA article. :)

You may have said it already, but do you play the game on the console or with an emulator? Cause it would be great to have some screenshots.

I was about to talk about that subject. I have a real (original, not QD) N-GAGE, I can try to take screenshots of those levels, and also give a try in recording them. On next Monday I'll give more details.

I tried to record the Ascension level, but I fear that the image is a little blurry. :(
