Are you referring to the fact that the game did not follow the historical events? Well that would have been quite fun

No, I mean that, in the game, the king and queen were still alive during the Terror.

Well Marie-Antoinette was executed during the beginning of the Terror. As for Louis XVI, let's just say we considered an extended reign of Terror

Wow, Seven Villagers in the Hall of Fail.
Now guys, Because no important players sent me their role pms I was not able to determine that DesLife and the was actually faking (Nicely constructed fake, by the way) and I also thought Vicarious lied to me about being Vigilante, because another player made the same claim, but sent me a role pm with it, making himself more believable. I could have tried to save Acarr if she told me she was inspector too. It also would've been nice to have some non-mafias to give my intel to. I tried so hard, but you can't co-operate by yourself.
Of course I wasn't perfect; I did get tricked easily by the mafia, and I neglected to send my information to some people who had sent role pms because of suspicions I held; a mistake I won't make next time. To those people, I thank you and apologise.
Tobbe and DesLife, congratulations on a well constructed plan. I mustadmit Iheld a slight amount of suspicion in the back of my head regarding Tobbe, but I ignored that in favour of the fact I needed someone I felt I could trust.
Good game nonetheless. I did find however that poor knowledge on the theme made it hard to tell if a role was good or evil based on the name, with Wikipedia (
) not helping that much. I think or more well-known theme would be more enjoyable, although others may disagree.
That's it for me... Tobbe I'll send you some stuff later regarding hosting a game. Not to rush you of course, a break sounds like a good idea.

I actually think it's quite interesting to learn about unfamiliar subjects, but I get your point.Holy Crap wrote:I did find however that poor knowledge on the theme made it hard to tell if a role was good or evil based on the name, with Wikipedia () not helping that much. Tobbe, don't forget to close this thread when you create the new Mafia topic

I agree, it's interesting to learn new things, but for the purpose of the game it's a little frustrating.Hunchman801 wrote:I actually think it's quite interesting to learn about unfamiliar subjects, but I get your point.
That said, the mafia game I'm planning to run in my holidays is going to make it impossible to gauge alliance based on rolenames...

About 7 weeks, so not for a while.
Re: Revolution Mafia - The Terror wins! - Postgame discussion
I'll start signups for my game soon, but it'll take a while before it starts, though. My winter holidays are coming up next weekend, and I'm gonna spend four days binge-drinking and five in Manchester and London, so I won't be able to start it until March 2nd.

No problem, just make sure you close this topic before you open the next one
Also, as I said already, too bad we won't be in London at the same time
Re: Revolution Mafia - The Terror wins! - Postgame discussion
The first two nights I didn't know who to protect, the third night I protected Vicarious (he was saved by that right?) And I was lynched before the fourth night. Bleh.Hunchman801 wrote:

You should have contacted other players to know who to protect. The villagers can't win without cooperation.
Re: Revolution Mafia - The Terror wins! - Postgame discussion
If I had contacted a terror member I would have given myself away.

And if you do nothing, you lose too.
Re: Revolution Mafia - The Terror wins! - Postgame discussion
Wow... i didn't do this, i accidently revealed the identity of the REAL accounts, not the Alias accounts.5. Goldfish (Rayman4321)
He revealed the identity of the mafia users to all the players. Fortunately, most of them were dumb enough not to realise the mistake, and they did not know what their aliases were anyway.
And i seriously don't get why Deslife is second at the hall of fame, he accidently forced me to vote for lynching Diplodocus.
Aside from that, we both were good Terror players.

I noticed at the beginning that the terror was winning.
