I would like to play Okami once... actually, besides Beyond good & evil 2 and Rayman 4 that's the last game I'd buy in a long time as things are looking now.

Re: The best game you ever played (Except Rayman)
Beyond Good & evil and Jak 2 are the games I love the most. Beyond good & evil is just... well, Beyond good & evil
Jak 2 is just excellent, no really. The city as a hub was worked out really well, the levels where hard but not too hard, the music ( especially that for the battle with Krew ) can pump the adrenaline through your veins, it had a special feeling, it felt... dark, and it felt really great... The original Jak & Daxter was fine, it was a fun platformer, and especially the first stages had an atmosphere that I quite enjoyed, but it doesn't go much further than that. Jak 3 was lovely, the wasteland has a Rayman-ish feeling, it felt a bit mysterious, you know. Although i rather disliked the mood of Haven City. All right, there was a war going on there, but the Haven environment just felt rushed. They could have really given it more eye for detail, like for example giving the civilians and the soldiers a mood that depends on what has happened ( to give you an example, after you reconnect with HQ, maybe the civilians and the soldiers could actually be a bit happy ), make the unconquered parts of Haven City more enjoyable to be in, and playing in the ruins of the entire city could be extremely fun was it to be done right. But, after all, Jak 3 was done in only one year, wasn't it ? J&D: The lost frontier had a nice feeling, but i didn't feel that it added a lot of value to the overall story of Jak ( in fact, it's even confusing, i mean, what's the history of Aeropa and the sky pirates, and so on ) apart from the fact that we know Keira is a sage now.

Hmm...
Monkey Island series. 3-headed monkeys...
Beyond Good and Evil - warm and touching story with an important message.
Braid - and noone can say that games aren't art.
