The Fairy Council for me. I greatly appreciate how the developers used it to 'transition' between the style of Rayman 2 and Rayman 3 (I'll go into more detail if anyone wishes).

Other levels which I am fond of include the Land of the Livid Dead, the Longest Shortcut and the Tower of the Leptys. But they all have some charm or other about them.

I wish for more detail. I'm not arguing, I just want to know what you mean.

First of all, the name of the level comes from the Rayman 2 manual. Secondly, it is the only level of Rayman 3 in which fairies figure largely, in particular Ludivs (who are from Rayman 2). The Grand Minimus (from Rayman 2) play a significant role. So does the Heart of the World, around which the story of Rayman 2 revolved. The level also takes a few visual cues from Rayman 2, such as the stained glass and the juxtaposition of stars and jet-black water/ice. Murfy (from Rayman 2) appears only in this level. There are a few places in the level where you can see eyes peering at you; they resemble the eyes of Jano/the mini-Janos, from Rayman 2.

And there are likely some other things I'm forgetting.

So, I played through Rayman 3 again tonight, reinstalling it, after maybe a year or two (as far as the PC version goes). Damn, everyone's voice is sexy in French, yo. I hardly understand French, but I will say I like the game more that way. I just beat the game, listening to it entirely in French.

The Desert of the Knaaren, because of the plot twist and the first Reflux fight.

The whole game is just epic really. It's not really something you can put your finger on; it just has the X factor (which is a phrase I don't often use).

Has anyone noticed that in the backround of The Land of The Livid Dead, they have the Sydney Opera house from Australia?

I have to say, The Fairy Council is my favorite place, other than Desert of The Knaaren and Tower of The Leptys. Knaaren are cool. :mryellow:

True, but there are plenty of people who wouldn't agree, I hate it when people say R3 was stupid.

Um I think that's actually one of the Teensie hospitals. But yeah it does look a bit like it.

It's clearly some kind of oblique reference to the Sydney Opera House, just like that Eiffel Tower in the Hoodlum Headquarters. But of course it's not meant to actually be it. If they started dropping real-world landmarks into Rayman games I would get pretty angry.

I have such a love/hate relationship with that game it's pretty silly. Which is ironic seeing as today I'm gonna try and expand the game's level articles at the wiki [tbh I'm trying to take my mind off of things ie having to swallow a capsule earlier lol].

Nobody on here, but I know plenty of other people who say it is.
I've heard the Eiffel Tower is in the Hoodlum Headquarters, but I can never find it.

I never said that the game was stupid, what happens is some factors from the game that "don't combine" very well. It's a love/hate relationship that I have with the game, but I'm also not saying that the game is bad.

I'm not blaming you, but I think that the worst excuse for R3 being bad (though it IS awesome) is that R2 was better. They both are very good.
