I was taught by an absolutely terrible French teacher for three years. It was delightful. She had no control over the class at all and we could do what we wanted.

Sounds like my German teacher, and the funny thing about it is that, all other teachers said that if he would leave, a real German teacher would teach us German. (a woman)
