My Staraptor knew Fly, Brave Bird, Close combat and Roost.
My Empolion knew Waterfall (i was going to delete it), Surf, Hydro Pump and i think something with Ice.
My Gengar knew Substitute, Hypnosis, Dream eater and Shadow Ball.
My Crobat knew Confuse Ray, Cross poison, X-Scissor and Heat wave.

That's all i can remember.

Aaargh 3 water moves on Empoleon... not good. Although it's an in-game team so HMs are kinda necessary.
Hypnosis and Dream Eater is a bit unreliable, I wouldn't recommend it.

Is that your first shiny encounter? I got two without use of the PokéRadar (I used to play way too much :P). First one was a shiny Nidoran in the Safari Zone in FireRed, second one was a shiny Floatzel in Pearl. I also encountered Suicune in FireRed without knowing there were legendary dogs running around in those versions. I thought I was hallucinating :fou2:

lol Butterfree. Hitting Koga supper-effectively is not really woth it. Typhlosion already hits Venomoth, Forrtress and Ariados with fire attacks and Graveler's magnitudes/earthquakes should take down Muk with ease. Also it's worth noting Dragonair is actual a complete piece off shit until it evolves (and that won't happen for 15 levels...). I'd suggest swapping either of these two for something with a decent Electric Attack or Lance's Gyarados will have a party on your face. It also helps for Will's Xatus and Slowbro, Koga's crobat and Karen's Murkrow.
But Serza loves dragonair. :P Lol yeah i've been thinking of using an electric pokemon, I better go catch Raikou asap. :P I already caught Entei.

Well OFCOURSE you're first shiny was a red Gyarados, well, mine only is in this game but, it's almost a present from Nintendo at the lake of Rage.
It doesn't even require luck.

I tried to catch Raikou, but he ran away..... i'm not trying to catch him again because he's lvl 40 and my Feraligatr is lvl 30.

:fou2:

I've weakened Raikou and paralyzed him (not sure why I did that instead of making him sleep but anyway...), I just throw a pokeball when I bump into him. Saving my masterball for Mewtwo.

Yes... and if you only know the 1rst generation, you could have guessed that.
Because more than half of the pokemon on this page are from the 1rst (and 2nd) gen

I'm saving my masterball for him too, Mewtwo used to be the hardest pokemon ever in Red and Blue.... no ''normal'' pokemon could touch it.

I recognised a couple, but they're mostly alien names to me. I never memorised the whole 1st generation anyway, I just watched the anime and collected a few cards but never played the games 'cuz I didn't have a gameboy :(

If there's something I remember about the old versions, it's that I never used my master ball, at least it was challenging!

The only shiny PKMN I found was on Leaf Green, when I returned to the Lab in Cinnabar Island to get my revived Kabuto. I was stranging on that time he having a green shell, I thought it was a glitch. Months later I read about Shiny Pokémon: I got astonished about my Kabuto.

A shiny Kabuto is one of the rarest shiny's, because you need a fossil.
You're lucky!! :D

The new starter sihlouettes are here.

http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon.shtml
The one with the 3 pointed tail is probably fire, the one with the wierd pig like tail is probably water, the other one is probably grass.

They look....weird, at least they don't look like rip offs of the 1st gen starters, or any other gen.

They look silly.. Especially the one with the curly tail. I'd pick the humanoid one.

Nah, the three pointed tail one can't be fire type imo, the 'fire' looks nothing like fire; it's too symmetrical and doesn't look wispy enough. Suffice to say it's completely unlike any fire on any other pokemon. More likely is that it's a grass type since the tail looks like some sort of leaves, although many have said a mermaid-like tailfin is also possible. It could be fire, but i have my doubts.
I'd say the one on the stubby one with the big head is probably water since it looks like some sort of beaver and generally looks watery.

If someone wants to trade my shiny Voltorb for something, my friend code is: 4812 9960 8854.
And can someone help me with putting my other shiny's and legendary's on this game?
I'll trade them to you, if you trade them back.
My Platinum friend code is: 1505 2769 4845
My Diamond friend code is: 1290 4887 9040

And since i have legendary's in both platinum and diamond, i'll give free legendary's away.
