But I is too lazy... can't spiral-senpai do it?
Re: Rayman Origins
True. He would be a much better thread starter.Jewish Candy wrote:But I is too lazy... can't spiral-senpai do it?

Re: Rayman Origins
I say it's the stick-thing he uses. It allows him to use powerful attacks, but also works as a weak point. After all, he does have SOME protection in the arena, since you can't hurt him directly.Spanex wrote:I'm going for the "No-protection-magic-in-the-arena rule" theory.

HaHaHaHa whoops....
I was actually meant to post that random point in the Rayman 3 forum thingi.....But this is the Rayman origins topic...... Quickly! Everyone get back to talking about origins! It was a stupid mistake!
For the record though, I believe that the Knaaren are only invincible in the tunnels, and Rayman was only able to defeat Reflux (the first time) by weakening his source of magic (staff)

There ARE paintings in some caves pedicting Knaaren hate the sun, or are weakened by it. Maybe they need darkness.

Re: Rayman Origins
Dango, we patiently await a lore thread. I don't know if it's in the works or not, but whatever - I think Spiral should be thread-master, so it's his business.
The 'staff as source of magic/power' idea is very valid, especially if it means giving up invincibility. Is Reflux's life force tied to it, or something? Hmm. I wonder, after Spanex's comment, if maybe it's the exposure to fire that weakens Knaaren; this explains their hatred for the sun AND why Reflux is poundable in the arena, as he summons hellfire of DOOM at two points, and the stadium is surrounded by lava... the possibilities are endless.
We NEED that thread.
EDIT: Dango? Sorry, no, Frenckie - I was half asleep typing this.

Re: Rayman Origins
Senpai means 'elder learner' or the like. It's a sign of respect without being respectful, if you get what I mean - Spiral is older and more experienced on this forum than me, but he's not a mod. That said, Deslife is Dessy-senpai... I might change that (out of fear of his God-mod powersMLII[2Random4U] wrote:Japanese freindship-suffixes?
