Re: Funny pics
Actually i have, if space was always there, someone or something had to make it, there HAD to be a beginning of it.
If it was something, it had to be made, but if it was god... he might (i seriously have no idea how) made itself.
If there was NOTHING then it's impossible that it exploded.
And no i'm not a christian or something, these are my own thoughts.

Interesting off-topic conversation
I prefer to not think about how everything came into existence, because it makes me feel all funny D:
Everything becomes weird if you start thinking really deep about it, even thinking itself...

Ok, he says that we can't prove that something just begin's to exist, but i don't really care about all these story's that much.
I'm not a christian or something, but you got to admit that the Big Bang theory is just shit.

I don't care whether stupidity hides behind a religion. It's still stupidity, and it still irritates me.
No, why should I?Rsandee wrote:but you got to admit that the Big Bang theory is just shit.

Re: Funny pics
First of all, space was not 'always there'. It has been there for approximately 13.7 billion years. 'Someone or something' did 'make it'; that 'something' was an object of infinite density which expanded to form the universe as we know it today.Rsandee wrote:Actually i have, if space was always there, someone or something had to make it, there HAD to be a beginning of it.

You then somehow reach the conclusion that a god must have 'made itself' out of nothing and then created the universe out of nothing, and you admit that you 'seriously have no idea how'. In what way is this more plausible than the theory of the universe being formed from an expanding singularity? The one which all experts in the field agree upon? I think you might be getting a tad ahead of yourself if you think you know more about this subject than the people who spend their lives studying it.
Re: Funny pics
Exactly. And furthermore; nobody claims that the Universe began to exist in the Big Bang. That theory only explains how the Universe came to exist in the state in which it does today. Nobody has ever shown that the Universe even had a beginning. And your entire argument relies on the faulty assumption that because the laws of causality apply in our Universe, they apply to our Universe.
Oh, and one more thing:

And that story of scientists and people, i never said i knew more than them, i only said my own theory.
And @Tobbe.
That's what i think about atheism. It's still stupidity, and it still irritates me.
I know nobody showed that the Universe ever had a beginning, as the big bang and every other life theory is just a theory. (obvsly)
And, i didn't even want to have an discussion about this, i only believe in God because that's the best theory there is right now.
And if you find this stupid and wrong, i don't care.
Re: Funny pics
If you say things like "that is the best theory," claming this as it was obvious while it's only your point of view, you're just going to get some people mad at you. Definitely a very bad idea.
