Slightly off-topic but still kind of related:

I'm sure a few of you have read rayfan's Piranha fanfic (not me, the one named just rayfan) and loved it, as did I. It's probably the most popular and best Rayman fanfic out there, with over 800 pages of amazingness and counting. Well I've started working on a 3D model for her, and here's two pictures:




This design is based off of rayian510's illustration in Coral Painter X.

Do you mean the weird "lifelessness" in them? Yeah that's a raytracing + area shadows problem. I'll try to fix it.

No I mean they aren't round, the outside edges are wavy rather than a single smooth curve. It reminds me of a cartoony cloud.
