Gaming Favorites

I created this back in the French forums about two years ago, and it's still active, so I figured I make it here. Doesn't matter how many you put. So, in no real order:

*Rayman (series) - No kidding!
*Unreal Tournament (series) - Was excellent, still is excellent, and after getting into years of play, I still haven't stopped playing it.
*Gears of War - Designed like kill.switch, I'd say it improves on that formula a lot.
*Contra (series) - The classic one-hit-kill stuff.
*Breakout-style games - Yes, Breakout is awfully simple compared to the others, though it's a Pong-like game I can actually get into.
*Battlefield (series) - Proving that war can be a lot of fun.
*Pac-Man - Another older one, though still a very fun one.
*Serious Sam: The First Encounter, The Second Encounter - Some of the most fun I've had in a single-player first-person shooter.
*Mortal Kombat II - In my opinion, the greatest of the Mortal Kombats.
*Super Mario Brothers (series) - I grew up with it, and it's still a great series. (Including Mario Bros., which came prior to Super Mario Bros. They're very different, actually, though both lots of fun)

Ratchet & Clank 3 (Big weapons, lots of secrets, great humor and SO many things to do)
Sonic Mega Collection + (New Sonic games suck, but the old ones are great. GO DEBUG MODE)
Sly series (Easy stealth, open levels and lots of stealing)
Beyond Good and Evil (Made by Michel Ancel, great storyline, great music and free roaming)
Excite Truck/Bike (Both awesome)
Tekken series (these games hurts my left thumb, but they are still very good)
Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus (Awesome world and lots of fart jokes XD. Great gameplay too.)
Worms 4 (Fun!!)
Jak 2 (FunFun!!)

As(s) you can see, most of my favourite games are action games.

Well... I suppose I'll add my wee list as well. In no particular order...

~ Rayman series, duh. Sans the Rabbids.
~ Oblivion, preferably with all the expansions.
~ Morrowind. Fecking hard, scary, but still fun.
~ Black and White 2.
~ Anachronox. This game was a comercial failure, but it was damn fun. And fecking long.
~ Age of Mythology & the Titans expansion. Unfortunately, my disk doesn't work anymore.
~ Spyro. I've always loved those games.
~ Tetris. I luffle Tetris.
~ Beyond Good and Evil.

well, mario is pretty good, but meh...it's a matter of opionion.
anyway, for me. hmmmmmm......... the dbz budokai series is certainly up there, and dawn of war, which is just awesome. i'll be able to think of more when it's not 1:05.

New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Galaxy are both some of the greatest Mario games i have played. Just wanted to say that.

Rayman series-why would i be here if i didnt like it
call of duty 4-is just simply excellent
assasins creed-I like the simple gameplay alot where holding down 1 button can do so much
bioshock-is also simply excellent
rainbow six vegas 1+2-i find them addicting
splinter cell series- i really like the stealth gamplay
basicly every mario game (except mario party games)
the old 2d sonic games- they are better then the 3d ones
metroid series
ratchet and clank series- FUN
condemned series- i like the ability to pick up almost every random thing you can find and using it as a weapon(TOILET SEAT )

spy vs spy is a good game i've got. it's not the best, but it's got it's own special thing that makes it cool. plaus it was only $30 brand new, which was nice.

I'm one for platformers myself, like some games that were on the ol' MegaDrive/Genesis. But I also like the Mario series, old Sonic, DDR, worms, and recently, I love games like Warioware, Trauma Centre and Cooking Mama.

oh yeah, the crash bandicoot series is one i very much enjoy, especially the latest one. there's something about using big monsters to kill hundreds of little dudes that doesn't fail to entertain.

Zelda-It's epicness, music, levels, story, visuals, fun level, you can go wrong with Zelda. (I'm mainly talking about the 3D Zelda games.)
Mario-One of the most classic, and fun pop-culture icons in history.
Star Fox-The best rail shooter ever. Not to mention the the adventure.
Donkey Kong-I mainly liked Donkey Kong 64 over all the others, but still a great series.
Star Wars-Each and every Star Wars game holds some of the best memories EVER.
Mega Man-Oh, God, don't get me started. Mega Man is second only to Zelda.
James Bond-The best and most fun FPS series ever to be created. (Not to mention most of them have Peirce Brosnan, the best James Bond ever.)
Rayman-The most graphically, colorfully, difficultyly, .....funly platformer series ever! (Also, Mr. Dark.)
Sonic games-Also a series that holds many great and fun memories.
