I remember no1fanofalot posted something on her channel a long time ago saying "Rayman sucks" and she said her brother hacked her account 0-0GlueTube365 wrote:I understand that I have done something completely stupid and horrible, and I shall now tell you something about my predicament, and I apologise to all of you.
On YouTube, I was having a PM conversation with my sister, a user called No1fanofalot. We were having a laugh about this whole 'Raymanx2000' thing and I asked "Wouldn't it be wierd if it happened again?" However, not only did she do it on her laptop (which I used to use before I got one of my own), but she also sweared extensively.
Not only has this destroyed my reputation of being a 'Nice guy,' but some of my YouTube friends are now loosing their trust in me (and, probably No1fanofalot)
For giving her the idea I do accept and admit blame. You do have the right to punish us accordingly and I accept it. However, should you chose to forgive us, then I soloumly (if that is how you spell it) swear that this will not happen again.
I do sincerely apologise to all of you, particularly Rsandee, who got the worst of it.
Thank you for your time to read this message.

It is a big deal, and you should feel really bad about it. I really hope you've learned your lesson.
I'm quite surprised you gave such a decorous apology, so I'm willing to accept it. Be sure that if you do this again it's definitely a ban though.

Thank you for being very generous and I give you my word that this will never happen again. As for Iluvspritemovies, I've given her a good talking to. She will (hopefully) never do it again. Although, she was never that good at spelling.Xenon wrote:It is a big deal, and you should feel really bad about it. I really hope you've learned your lesson.

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Oh boy... I come here to introduce myself and see all this drama instead, it's a little intimidating, really! Does this kinda thing happen often? One of those things I'd want to know, I guess... D:
I uh... I guess I would still like to introduce myself, if no one minds. Since this is... well... a thread called "Please introduce yourself here" and everything. xD;
So uhh. Hi. I'm Ephriokko. Or rather, it's my universal screen name for... well, a lot of things, really. xP Oddly enough, I find it feels weird to be called by my screen name or any variant thereof, which kind of takes away the point of choosing it...
Ah well. I guess I just keep using the same thing for the sake of being consistent. Plus it's easier for me to remember...
Otherwise, you can call me Feb. If I tried to explain why, I'm afraid it'd end up in another long-winded text wall, which I don't feel like would be terribly relevant. Not that it's stopped me in the past. Speaking of which...
I have a habit of writing walls of text without entirely intending to. So if you see a post by me and it's ridiculously long, I promise I'm not trying to spam! I have this weird inexplicable need to explain things a lot. I'm not sure why I do it. But it isn't intended to be harmful or malicious in any way, I can assure anyone of that. =)
Uhh... and on the topic of the site itself, and what it's about. I first encountered Rayman when I was little and had a copy of the GBA port of the first Rayman. Being a little kid with a not-so-great grasp on video games, I admit that I really sucked at it. And I never got far, since I was only playing around on levels that my brother would have unlocked on his own save file. But heck, it was fun, and it helped me through some hard times(and unbearably long road trips). Unfortunately, the game cartridge was lost as time passed and I all but forgot about it.
In later years I played the PS2 port of Rayman Arena, on which I spent hours and hours of time(hey, I happen to find it rather entertaining, despite what some people might say =P), and I also owned Rayman 3 at one point. But they didn't really stand out to me at the time, as I was exploring new things in my life and was at the point where I'd rather have left older things behind me—plus, the idea of liking someone like Rayman or other cartoonish things that catch my interest made me feel uncomfortable at the age I was at; everyone else was getting into more 'mature' or realistic things by the end of grade school(you ought to know that whole 'peer pressure' spiel by now, it's so common; I believe I'm past it now), so eventually I forgot about those games as well. I didn't keep my copy of Rayman Arena when I moved to a different parent's house, and Rayman 3 was traded in to Gamestop to help afford another game...
And then, for some strange reason, earlier this year in June I found I had this strange, inexplicable longing to play the first Rayman game again. Maybe it was a glimpse of the guy seen on the internet, or just plain nostalgia, but I wound up with a copy of the PS1 edition of the game soon after—and loved every single minute of it. I finally finished the game I had so much trouble with as a kid, and it's no surprise that I decided to purchase the other games soon after.
Erm. Wall of text aside, I rediscovered an old childhood favorite and in the flood of nostalgia have once again become a big fan of the series. That led to me randomly and enthusiastically using the wonderful, wonderful internet to learn more about Rayman as a character, the art people post, and the communities involved. And I eventually ended up lurking on here for a few days(some of the discussions are rather entertaining/food for thought!), and as of last night I found myself wanting to contribute in topics being discussed. And... here I am.
Some of the time I can be a freak over grammar and spelling, but that doesn't stop me from acting totally ridiculous at times. Know the rules before you break 'em, I say, and I darn well know my grammar and spelling!
I mostly sneak around on deviantART under the same name, and to be totally honest, I've never been able to keep up with any other community I've joined for more than a year and a half at most(that's my longest record besides dA). I have no idea how long I'll be sticking around here, in that sense, but my love for Rayman as both a character and a series is deep-rooted in my childhood, so hopefully I'll be around for a while to come. Knowing my spontaneity, I honestly don't know how long I'll stay... a few days? A week? Months? Maybe even years? All the same, I've seen that many of the members here also have deviantART accounts from their signatures and similar names, so maybe we can become friends.
I try my hardest not to pick fights, and I'd rather resolve things peacefully than violently. But that doesn't stop me from playing video games... ;D
Ohgeez. Long post is looong... Dx Not intentional, I swear!
To put this all under wraps... hi. And sorry in advance for many walls of text that may ensue in the future! xD;

Welcome to the Rayman Pirate Community, Ephriokko!
This kind of thing does not happen often, and (I think) it has been resolved.
Please do enjoy yourself.

What I don't get is all these hate between the siblings. But as I said, if two machines are behind the same NAT on an access point / router, they have the same IP. But GlueTube, one smart trick you can do, is to modify the hosts file on your sisters operating system, in order to block her out of RaymanPC.
On Standard NT-based (Windows XP/2000): Press
+
and write the following in the white field.
On MinWin-based (Windows 7/Vista): Go down in the "Start" menu, write "cmd", when Shift+Ctrl+Enter, and write the same following in the black box.
And in the end of the notesblok, you add this line:
And when you just save it, and your sister will be unable to visit RaymanPC again.

Well, this whole buisness is different than hatred. We were having a conversation and laughing about this 'Raymanx2000' thing and then my sister thought it would be funny to do this.PowerPatrick wrote:What I don't get is all these hate between the siblings.
